I Used to Live Near Itaewon in South Korea

I'm not around here much, but was pretty active back on the old site, including the time that we lived in Seoul, South Korea from 2010-15.  We lived in the Byucksan Megatrium apartment complex, about 200 meters from Samgakji Station.  Samgakji was two stops away from Itaewon.  It was about a 20 minute "hop, skip and a drunk" away from the apartment.  

Had many a grand time in the bars all along the main drag.  It was always an adventure getting to Stompers, which was located at the top of Hooker Hill.  If you have seen any of the video, the Hamilton Hotel is right in the center of the neighborhood.  Lady SI and The Youngster used to buy makeup at the Olive Young where bodies are being lined up in front.  

A friend of ours was a very good special effects makeup artist and used to dress us up as zombies and we'd walk through the area, scaring the locals.  They had no idea what to do when we'd get on the subway.  Always a lot of pictures with the crazy foreigners though....
