I Will Never Eat At McDonald's Again

Forums:

I have not for the last 10 years, but I will never again too.

I wouldn't trust that orange clown to make my french fries.

I wouldn't trust him for anything.

VOTE!!!!!

Been over 10 yrs for me too.

That was one MAGA franchise owner. But yeah, no reason to go there regardless

Go Grimace!

That is just gross on so many levels.

Yeah, haven't eaten there for a long, long time.

23 yrs for me. Not even a shake or orange juice

Last time I ate McDonald's food or maybe that was Jack in the Box, was in the '60s, on Telegraph or Shattuck - wait! I did try a fry that my friend had a few years ago. Nope, not my kind of food.

Word at the country club is that tRump smells like a combination of ass crack, underarms, ketchup, and fast food grease...

when it prepared reasonably fresh, the filet o fish is actually a pretty good sandwich, and IMO when im on the road for a long drive and need to hit up a drive thru, the filet o fish is actually pretty high on my list of fast food items that i actually enjoy, up there with stuff like popeyes, in n out or chick fil a. everything else on the mcdonalds menu aside from filet o fish or fries is worst of the worst quality, even if you only compare them to other fast food burger joints.

It sounds like nobody ate at that McDonald's today. They closed the restaurant for the Trump Show.

They deserve each other. Fk em both!

That must be why they added the Chicken Big Mac...

So SS agents must have been the "customers."

So realistic! Real Americans!

It has been about 30 years since I last stepped into one of those and this stunt did not encourage me to ever return.

very progressive of Mc D to allow a convicted felon to work for them

I hope many in that area have added that "restaurant" to their list.

Are those "freedom fries"?

As a kid, I liked McDonalds.  My metabolism could handle it then.  The food was cheap enough to get with my allowance money.  I liked the commercials and the characters:  Mayor McCheese, The Hamburgler, Grimace, The Happy Fries.  Ray Kroc was the owner and originator of the brand.  He was also the original owner of the San Diego Padres.  They sucked in those days, but they also had the San Diego Chicken for a mascot, which was pretty cool.

I remember sitting in a McDonalds in Charlottesville during my college years.  One of my good friends, who was a Religious Studies major, said "I feel like I'm sinning" for even being inside one of their restaurants.  It was the first time I'd really pondered McDonalds at that level.  I became a vegetarian for a while, changed my diet, and more or less walked away from Fast Food.  In the late 80's the Rainforest Action Network became prominent, and they explicity urged people not to eat fast food hamburgers, as the Amazon rainforests were being cleared to make more grazing land for beef cattle.

I still enjoy a good burger, fries and shake, but I stick to the independents, although the cost of a good burger will set you back close to $15 these days.

The last time I went to a McDonalds that I can recall, was about ten years ago, when my girlfriend at the time wanted Egg McMuffins in the morning.  Things didn't go very far with that one.  It was pretty clear how she liked her eggs done.

I grew up on McDonalds and I actually like a lot of the "food" there. BigMacs, Double cheeseburgers(do they still have those?), Cheeseburgers. I like mustard and ketchup on my burgers because of them. But is not food these days. It is garbage.  It never was exceptionally healthy(they did use 100% beef, but it was factory beef), but when burger king went cheep, everyone else followed. Replacing real food with fillers and crap. Finding something healthy on the freeway is damn tough. You really need to take food with you.

Well you all quit just in time.

On a side one of my friends nephew died when Jack in the Box killed a few people with an Ecoli outbreak. That was back in the the late 80's. Being a normal country at the time most people thought Jack in the Box was done for, but instead they launched a massive new ad campaign with Jack come to life with a big white head and that lifted the brand to one of the top tier fast food restaurants. Gotta love America.

I think I had a good stretch of 10 years where I refused to step foot inside even to take a leak or leave a #2 behind because of how they lied about the fries' seasoning containing beef "product" as it relates to their locations in India.  I was also vegetarian for 20+ years, so it made it kind of easy to avoid them.  In more recent times, I've been less hard core and will occassionally stop on a road trip if there aren't any other good options.

Now Burger King is another story. I will still take childhood comfort in a Whopper, fries, and a coke, most usually on a  long road trip midday break. It can be SO GOOD!
