If I could make a suggestion

Forums:

Could a "like" feature be constructed similar to what's on fb?

I'm reading many pithy, insightful comments here in the first few hours. Granted it's a honeymoon phase and this, too shall pass, but I think most of us zone within a larger context and don't always have the time for a fully formed response.

app?

That way we could really smooch some ass on here.

I say nay no

I vote no as well.

This is low on the list. When you refreshed the page at the "Other Stuff" level on the old site you would see threads that had additional comments as new orange topics. Right now if you clicked on a link it turns green it stays green even after new comments are posted.

it doesn't take too long to type "lol" or "fuck you"

start using those like buttons and folks like st mark are gonna get super annoying trying to flaunt that shit in quick fashion

Is it possible to keep the left sidebar in view as we scroll down?

A like button is a slippery slope to karma points.

I miss the perma-grin smiley. :O

My post wasn't a vote for "like".

Jus' sayin' the THUMB thing is about the same.

Also, I miss the toothy smiley, as well.

That thumb thing is a lot like a "like" thing. Oh great.

That's what I've been doing Blakey. I saw in another thread that my comment is on the punch list! yes
