I'm Back

Forums:

Hey Now!!

On the 8th I wasn't feeling so hot. By the 12th  I knew there was trouble ahead, Got tested and on the 15th I got the call I was positive.

The night of the 15th my oxygen was dropping and my blood pressure crashed to 50/40 and then it blanked out. The ambulance got me to the ER where they stabilized me. I was transferred to the Covid hospital on the 6th floor.

By morning they told me my kidney shut down and I had a bladder infection.

Shots (4 in stomach 4 times a day) handfuls of pills by the hour. So many I cant even tell you what everything was. They got my kidney rolling and controlled the infection in my bladder, and in my body.

I was breathing better, They gave me a donut and and told me to stay close to my house. (where the fuck was I going to go?)

Well the fun began.

The next week was the worst week I every thought was possible.

Today is Monday the 26th (my 29th wedding anniversary) and I will say I am at 40-50% now. I get winded walking 50 feet. I sleep 18 hours a day now, ache deep into my bones and a more on than off headache for 3 weeks. The diarrhea has been consistent too. I have zero taste and no smell. I can't hear out of my right ear and I lost feeling in 3 of my fingertips on my left hand.Keeping food down is a chore. Sweats/Chills constant.

There was 2 days/nights I honestly did not think I was going to live, and to be frank, I was good with dying.

I think I am over the hump so to speak, I'm erect and not shitting in my pants or puking on myself. These are all small personal victory. I'll try to get back to the screen here in a few days. I'll tell ya how I got it.

My wife and Son have it too. My wife back and forth for about 4-5 days and is still tired and my Son had the sniffles for a few days. Sam is a trooper, ran the business, cooked food and helped out way beyond his 26 years.

Stay safe and wear a fuckin mask!

Damn Tim.   That sucks ass and glad you survived.   Get well soon.

So sorry to hear that.

Best wishes on a recovery.

Glad you are still with us!

Sharing your experience helps others.

Keep posting updates about your progress!

((((((Tim and Family))))))

that's one hell of a scenario. Glad to read you and your family are on the mend.

Glad your doing better, COVID sucks

Happy Anniversary

Jeez, Tim- well, happy anniversary!

So glad you made it.

Holy shit....glad you're on the other side, but that sounds like bloody hell.

Wow, sounds absolutely horrible.  What a nightmare.  Glad to hear you're through the worst.  Feel better.

Oh man! Sounds terrible.   Heal up!

Damn man that sucks!! Glad to see your on the mend. Covid ain't no joke for some people.

I think I am over the hump so to speak, I'm erect <<<<<<<

At least you have that going for you. Bright side.

Hey man- wow that sounds crazy.  Wishing you all the best for a speedy recovery.  You dose in the ICU or what?

Dear Tim, it's so good to hear from you. So frightening looking at it from the outside, I imagine while you dealing with the worst you weren't looking anywhere. You've lived my fears and it sounds like you are making your comeback. I expect it will take time, more time than you want, but at least it's time you've got. I hope your wife is also on the mend, it sounds like your son was able to weather it as many more youthful people are.

Lots of love coming your way.

hope you keep gettin better man! love to you

Well, the bad news is that apparently, copious doses of LSD does not prevent the Covid virus. But the good news is that I've invented this awesome sex robot.

Glad you are on the mend.

wow.

get better and know lots of folks are pulling for you.

>>>>I'm erect

Tim - Could've done without the word about your privates, but hey, REALLY F'IN GLAD to hear you're doing better.

I agree with the above - sounds like a nightmare. So glad you've turned the corner, if I may use THAT phrase.

Nothing but good vibes and good wishes for a swift recovery and some sense of normalcy for you and the entire family.

P.S. - The person who’s supposed to be leading our response says it doesn’t affect anyone. Maybe you could talk with him.

I hope you don't mind me sharing your story with some friends, anonymously . People need to WTFU!!!!!  What you described is some really scary shit.

Oh yeah. Happy Anniversary!!!!

Happy Anniversary! and so glad Sam can take care of what needs to be taken care of.

Damn Tim, reading that made me wonder about what a big fuss people make about the Wook Flu.

Good to hear you're on the mend.

So glad you made it. I'm going on lock down.

Get well! Wow! That's quite a tale you told. My anniversary was yesterday too - but it was a lot more low-key than yours.

Glad you're on the mend, Tim.

Holy Fuck

Here's to makin' it this far brother.  Rest up easy, get back soon.

You dose in the ICU or what?<<<<<

LOL

Glad to hear you're still with us! I believe you're one of the originals from back in the Philzone days. Despite some crazy some crazy stuff over the years, we need you around. Happy Anniversary. Speedy Recovery.

>>>So glad you made it.  I'm going on lock down.

Did you test positive? <<<

No I'm fine. This shit frightens me.

tim, you raised a good kid.

hope you were able to have a moment outside your struggle and enjoy your anniversary.

much strength to you and your family during this difficult time.

Tim...

Glad you're still with us and the family is healing. I hope worst definitely is over and there will be no lingering symptoms.

Get well, zoner.

Sounds horrible Tim. Glad you are now able to "Jump to the left". Take care.

Good to know you're on the mend. Take care of yourself and expect that you may not feel 100% for a while. I know a family that all got it early ( when they were in Spain) and the Mom and one of her teenage daughter had months of 'brain fog' and constant headaches. They saw an immunologist specialist at Stanford and finally 6 months later they seem to be back to normal. It takes a long time to recover for many folks.

Fuck Covid!

Sounds like you had a real scare, Tim. I hope your healing progresses quickly, and wish the same for your family too.

Update?

Yeah bro, hope you're feeling better.

You are a good man Tim. Glad you are doing better

Keep climbing back, Tim!

Another week has passed and I am improving a lil everyday. I would say I'm around 70%. I can sure use 3 naps a day still and the shits finally stopped on Saturday.

Ana is out on the couch. She feels like crap for 2-3 days and then good for 2 and then crap again. She is going on 2 1/2 weeks like that too.

I still cant taste or smell. I can eat bologna sammies all day and would tell you its filet mignon.

No I did not dose in the ICU but I did have 2 on hand for "just in case"

Thanks for every ones kind words and I did listen to my favorite dark star of all time! Thank you Van Atom.

Saturday night after Jorma my wife donated $20 to the Wisconsin Democrats for Rocky Horror Picture Show with a first time in 18 year appearance of Tim Curry. Good stuff there!

You'll be roping some big fish again in no time....

Thanks so much for checking in again. 70% is better, it's so good to hear that. It's a good trend. Best wishes to your Ana.

I am isolating at home and had to go to an imaging center today. Freaked me out to be around people and let them near me. Ackkkk.

love to you.

Thanks for the update ,Tim. Keep on trucking' and wishes for a faster full recovery  to you and yours.

Are you having any wild dreams, perhaps of schools of fish chasing you?

Keep feeling better.

Fuck Me

Wed. afternoon till today, feels like a truck ran me over 10 times. Can't keep my eyes open unless I need to run to the crapper to shit my brains out some more.

Fuckin thing is relentless.

So sorry you're feeling shitty. Can you get some home oxygen to keep you comfortable? Seriously, the folks I know who were dealing with it for months are doing great now, just give it time and get some rest. This too shall pass.

I predict your symptoms will be gone by the time Trump is dragged from the White House.

Flashbacks of peace and comfort

then may they be real

hang in there

Worth saying twice I guess

Flashbacks of peace and comfort

then may they be real

hang in there

This sounds like what I'm isolating (staying home, away from people) to prevent, Tim. So sorry. Wow. Crazy horrible.

Tim, Sorry to hear about your update.

((((visualize healing))))

...and homemade chicken broth w/ garlic and rice added would be very nourishing right now if you can keep it down!

hang in there, and thanks again for sharing your experience.

Still hoping for your recovery as soon as possible,  Tim.

Get well, sir.

It's strange how this virus has such a wide range of impact.  My sister got it back in April and still is only at 75% of her normal strength.  She said she was sleeping so much, her internal clock got thrown off and she would watch movies in the middle of the night and sleep most of the day.  She was fortunate to not get the digestive tract issues.

Wishing you a return to health soon.

Get Well Soon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sounds like such a horrible situation for some people.

you've been furthur than this fuckin' virus

keep kickin' it's ass

strength to you and your family

Spent Friday night tll Sunday afternoon in the hospital again. My lungs filled with fluids and I was dehydrated. They sound like good and evil fighting one another. I drank a hundred gallons of Gatorade, Petiolate and water. Don't comprehend the dehydration part.

Feeling a little better today, I'm just so fuckin tired of being non productive and sitting on my ass or sleeping all day. This is not me.

My entire left hand has no feeling in it now. I discussed this with the Dr. and he called me a Long Hauler. WTF??

I read up on it and a percentage (about 20%) have long term affects, for months on end. GREAT.

Most shake it after 3 months but a few still have lasting effects going on 6-7 months.

Well, if you go out wear a mask. It's simple.

I have a friend who is a HUGE Trumpster, He told me I caught it because I was wearing a mask. He told me the mask catches the germs and it has a longer time to stay around my mouth. He dropped out of high school in 10th grade, I guess he took an online infectious disease course when no one was looking. AND he was on the phone with me for a hour last night explaining how the virus is fake and that Trump won the election and the truth will come out this week about Elections, Child abuse and Cannibalism.

I told him to stop by for a kiss.

He didn't want to catch the fake 'Wuhan Flu"

Wow- some serious suckage there, Tim, but you seem to have a positive attitude, which is important.

Get well soon, bro-ham.

My brother had COVID last spring - also hospitalized.. Had the same lung fluid relapse as you, after he went back to work too soon. He's doing fine now

> I did not dose in the ICU but I did have 2 on hand for "just in case"

I may be reading too much into this, but that sounds like a bold exit strategy, ala Aldous Huxley. That's why I have a ten strip in my fridge.

That said, I hope your healing progresses rapidly, Tim. I'm hoping to see you posting about roasting a pig by Thanksgiving.

Damn Tim, stay strong. Wishing you nothing but the best.

I volunteered to register people at a COVID testing event the other day and after doing so, wondered if that was a smart thing to do. Don't think I'll do it again. The OT isn't worth it.

I like to be of service to folks, and wanted to support our Health Dept heroes, but I think I'll draw the line there. Had a shield, an N-95 mask, and gloves. Hope that worked.

(((((( Healing lungs for Tim )))))))

Sorry to hear of all this poor health and being under the weather.  Reading your story,  I was surprised that you are experiencing all of those symptoms from what's mostly publicized as a respiratory syndrome.

https://flda.org/

Some of what you are describing sounds a lot like Lyme syndrome,  above site is Florida based; lots of info there.  Borrelia burgdorferi is the spiral bacteria commonly associated with Lyme disease,  but there are another half-dozen or so involved.  It's a tricky business diagnosing the presence of some / all the bugs in question.

Hüsky had the basic test a few years back;  they draw some blood and test for the main / popular 4 or 5 bacteria. He tested positive for 2, meaning that he has antibodies present.  Vet says don't blast H.I.M. with antibiotics and keep an eye out for symptoms. He doesn't seem to have fatigue or joint ache,  but he can't talk,  so it's not easy to discuss such things.

The fatigue you described is what made me think of Lyme.  If you've ever had any tick bites (likely since you spend lots of time outdoors) it's not a bad idea to get some tests done.  These various bacteria can lurk in your body for ages, not causing any symptoms,  but then you catch the Flu or H1N1 or pneumonia and ZAP !! They are suddenly a co-factor in whatever else is ailing you.

Anyway I wish you the best in Health and recovery from your physical troubles.  Feel Better !!

Sounds like a tough weekend. Good to hear your home.
Maybe through this experience, you will find your flashbacks

>>> I was surprised that you are experiencing all of those symptoms from what's mostly publicized as a respiratory syndrome. <<<

Stu, that's old news; they've learned a lot since the beginning when they thought it was mostly a respiratory syndrome. Unfortunately, it's so much more.

Thanks for the honesty, Tim. I read your posts over the phone (slightly edited for drug use and profanity) to my 82 yr old parents today. I hope they take this a bit more seriously and it saves their lives. I also hope you and your family continue to heal.

Hang in there Tim. This too shall pass.

Felt very good on Monday. Walked all the way around the block!!  Nice breezy day due to Eta and the rain held off.

We got home and my wife made me poached eggs, English muffin, Taylor Pork Roll (where have you been my whole life?). Yummy!!  I ate well and had a nice London broil salad for dinner. Life is good!!! I'm on the mends.

Tuesday was also a good day. Little tired from the walk I assumed. I walked half as much and Anita made me another big breakfast but I wasn't too hungry. Tuesday night i was tired and achy again.

I woke up this am shitting and puking and by this afternoon I had blood in both.

My wife wants me to back to the hospital tonight, I want to wait till the am.

Wives always win, I guess Ill be heading back.

FUCK

Double fuck.

I am so much wishing you well. Hope you can feel the vibes.

Triple fuck.

Your wife is making the smart move... all the best to you guys for a healing, Tim.

Fuck times four.

Healing vibes headed your way, Tim.

Kick ass, Tim, we are rooting for you.

Five fucks, sending you every bit of healing love that I've got. What you're going through scares me deep down.

strength brother!

Is son cleared and doing well?

I'll go for the half-dozen pack of fucks. Damn, Tim. Strength and healing, dammit!

Sending you out ((( Healing ))) Tim and lots of love and Strength !!

I received a call from a fellow friend/musician tonight in the South Jersey area, she was crying and scared shitless as she had landed herself in the Atlanticare ER in Atlantic City ( I used to work there). They would not allow her hubby in of course and she was really scared, labored breathing and fluid building up in her lungs :(.

I tried to calm her down and told her to keep her phone charged as she was most upset about being alone, a network of friends were keeping her calm by texting and messaging her...it made her feel a bit "less" alone. I can't imagine being that sick with all we know about this virus and not getting major anxiety, hearing the very real fear in her voice when she called was all too real.  I haven't heard from her in hours so I am praying that she is resting and they were able to ease her pain.

The virus is dancing all around me, every day I hear of someone else I know that has it now, so scary !

Hoping you are also getting the care and relief you need, resting and healing....so sorry you have had to go thru all of this <3

This is Ana, Tim's wife.

Tim can read your posts but cannot post himself.

He said thank you.

They diagnosed a stomach infection and is treating it now.

Thanks, Ana. I hope this setback resolves quickly.

Good luck, Tim. Sorry for the misery. Hopefully you are past the worst of it

those fish ain't gonna catch themselves...

strength to both of you

Hi Ana & Tim.  Hope you are continuing to improve.  I believe I may have Covid and am trying to get tested.  Been raging a fever, cough and chills for a couple days now.

here's a few resources that might help.

We are a self-organized group of Long Covid patients working on patient-led research around the Long Covid experience. We are all researchers in relevant fields – participatory design, neuroscience, public policy, data collection and analysis, human-centered design, health activism – in addition to having intimate knowledge of COVID-19. We were born out of the Body Politic support group. Our first report, “What does COVID-19 Recovery Actually Look Like?”, was published on May 11th, 2020, and was the first report on Long Covid.

https://patientresearchcovid19.com/

The goal of this research is to capture and share a bigger picture of the experiences of patients suffering from COVID-19 with prolonged symptoms using a data driven approach. The survey content and research analysis are “patient-centric,” conducted through participatory type research. Survey questions and symptoms were aggregated and curated by patients themselves with expertise in research and survey design. Analysis was also conducted by patients themselves with expertise in both quantitative and qualitative data analysis. This approach is especially important for COVID-19 because patients experiencing symptoms are in need of timely research and content relevant to them that is not currently available due to the novelty of this virus.

Thanks for for the update, Anna.
I hope you can play some tunes for him.
and good  job getting him to the hospital.

>>Jay, do whatever you have to do to get tested ASAP. How's your daughter doing?

I have a test scheduled for next Wednesday.  Ugh- that's a long time to not know what's going on.  My daughter is good... she's with her grandma right now.  I'm just lonely and not feeling well.

That's fucking nuts that you're symptomatic and have to wait that long. Where are you located? And I'm glad to hear your daughter is with her grandma. That gives you a little bit less to worry about right now.

Get better big guy!

big fish.jpg

 BEat this shit

Hang Tough Man

That's a hell of a beating you've taken

Oh no, thanks for the update Anna.  Hope Tim sees some improvement soon.  Really stinks for you guys.

Jay, if you have the energy get your M.D. to get you in for a test sooner.

Thank heavens for grandmas.

Love and love.

Stu - are you living under a log?  Have you heard about the pandemic?  The dude is at a hospital where they tend to run a lot of tests.

Tim and Ana

You guys are my thoughts. I wish you a speedy recovery.

https://archive.org/details/sci2016-10-29.m934b_16bit

I am learning how to post on my portable device. What else is there to do in here. I hate the hospital.

SCI will cheer me up. Ill post in a little while and tell ya about the tube they put back in my penis............

Feel Better and get home soon.  If you're not able to eat, well the Food's not that great in hospitals.

And the portions are too small.

Tim I'm in Stuart next week visiting my buddy. If you want me to swing by with an onion roll, lemme know.;-)

Wow! Glad you're on the mend! Happy Anniversary and keep your guard up and glad you're back!

Oh man, Tim, I'm sorry you're having to deal with all this. Many positive thoughts coming your way.

Jay, that goes for you, too.

((( ZONERS )))

Thanks for the update, Tim. It sounds like you still have your sense of humor.

Hey Tim.  Hope you are feeling better. And get well soon.

And I want to thank you. Thank you for making this threat real. Thank you for reminding us to take this shit seriously. Seriously.

And I hope you get tested soon, Jay.

And I want to to wish all Zoners good health.  No exceptions.

My sister and neice both tested positive.  My Dad is sick today.  I am feeling mostly better and have my test Tuesday.  My daughter gets tested tomorrow.

Stay strong!

https://www.wsj.com/articles/doctors-begin-to-crack-covids-mysterious-lo...

it appears that gut issues after 'recovering' from Covid are not uncommon

Glad to hear you're feeling better, Jay. Don't let that deter you from getting the test on Tuesday. My sister was really sick last March, and found out she had Covid after the fact.

Any news from Florida?

I will make this quick. My heart stopped 6 or 8 times on Friday. The put an external device like a pacemaker and it hits me when it stops. It has not hit me since Sunday. They are debating on putting a pacemaker in me.

Me feeling is returning to my left hand the 3 original fingers noot so. My smell is absent but my taste is returning oh soo slow. I have 10% hearing coming back in my right ear but my left ear is down to 40%

Fuck you...I like music.

I have an infection in my whole body. They are working on that. They weighed me Ive always been 250-275....now im 205   Yonkers

Stu..they did test me for lime disease...Ha

Fuck it..Im in for a while as per doc...the only cool thing if there has been any is in the Covid rooms the doors are closed and they only come in your room every 6 hours compared to every 2 in a reg room. I get some decent sleep and the food is very good here with a fat ass menu. Wish I was hungry and could taste.

Hell of a shitty ass experience, I look like I just sat outside in a Cat 5 storm for a couple days. Damn

My wife called and said Ted will be home for Thanksgiving....first time in 5 years ...she orderd a PIG!!  Ana said if Im not up to it the family has seen me do it enough times they will give it a try!!

24 pounder.....first thing when cooking a whole pig is to pick a name.

> first thing when cooking a whole pig is to pick a name

I'm reading that the word Althea traces back to healing.

The traditional medicinal uses of the plant are reflected in the name of the genus, which comes from the Greek althainein, meaning "to heal".

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Althaea_(plant)

what Mark D said>>> Thank you for making this threat real. Thank you for reminding us to take this shit seriously. Seriously.

seems like you should name the pig TRUMP!

do you roast the pig Hawaiian-style?

hope they sneak some of it into the hospital for you...

Man Tim, that sounds rough.  Hang in there and hopefully in a few months, this will all be a bad memory.

In your very first post, you said you would tell us how you caught it.   I don't recall seeing anything further about that.  When you are up for it, we all would like to know how you think you came down with it as a cautionary tale.

Holy shit, Tim, heal the fuck up soon!

Damn!

Damn man, you've been through the ringer. It's great you're able to get the care you need in a good facility.

I wish you and your family all the best, and also what Mark said.

Thanks for sharing your story; I imagine you'll be reeling them in soon.

Keep on truckin dude. You'll eventually pop outta it. Maybe have the fam do the cooking this year. Get well man.

Go, Tim! Your sense of humor is still there through some serious craziness.

Get well soon and maybe that weight loss will be the silver lining to all this.

Never seen this before....Lou fuckin Reed

I turn it loud enough for me to hear but the staff said NOOOOOOOO TOOOOOOO LOUD

For god sakes someone turn this shit up this morning for me please..........

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=li3Lq6tMe1k

on it boss

get better man -- crazy posts.

rest up and crush this thing.

doses in the icu hahahahahahha

How have I never heard of Lou's guitarist before?!?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steve_Hunter

<For god sakes someone turn this shit up this morning for me please..........>

Gotcha covered. Hope they can hear it from Maryland.

So scary with the heart issues too.  Bet Tim is cracking the nurses up.  Do they come into the rooms with full hazmat suits on?  If I was tripping to that scene it would not be pleasant.

Big man, you have a lot of good folk on your team here.

Hang in there!

Jay, any updates?

As always, ,,   you know.

Amazing how much better one feels when they pull the tube out of your shank. Im not sure what is worse the in or out. Dudeman pulled it out so fast I wasn't prepared for it......BAM over. I liked it this way. Last time the nurse inched it out, seemed like a hour.

Feeling better last night and this am I am feeling great all considering.

External heart machine is disconnected, 2 of the 4 IV's are out. The infection is under control. Blood, blood and sugar, telestees(?) numbers are looking normal.

I'm taking a shower today too!! I can't smell but I am sure that I am well overdo.

Dr said I will not have a pacemaker and I might get out on Friday.

Fuck you Covid I ain't quite ready for ya yet

fuck yea, keep beastin' this m'fer!

Yes

When they come into a Covid room they wear 2 masks and a face shield. They wear 2 gowns first is back and tied in front, and second is front tied to back and they wear 2 sets of gloves and they are taped to the gowns.

All put on in hallway and then taken off at the threshold and put in a plastic biohazard trash can in room.

Almost hazmat like.

There is this young cute as can be but sorry to say a lil ditzy who after 3 visits at 4 410 420am and each time with less and less gear. By 420 she still had to take a 3rd tube of blood, she had on 1 mask and 1 glove, not a pair but 1 glove. She didn't think is was much of an ado.

Flash --\

Wishing you all the Best.  Feel Better and get Well.

Happy to hear that the Food is decent enough.

Get the heck out of there and go Roast the Hog smiley

Good to here you're doing better, Tim. And yeah, what Stu said: Go roast the hog.

What a nightmare run man, glad things are cresting the wave.

Thanks for the play by play. All the Best!!!

Tim - sounds like you got a more than enough for a book

then sell the movie rights but keep some kind of script control ( working title The Long Haul )

don't take it personally if they want to kill you off

Good Morning Y'all

Feeling better, up and around a bit more. Shower was soooooooooo nice. Cleaning the fromunder cheese!

Tubes and probes and the other shit that is non natural are being removed. I watched Running Man and I thought I could relate with Dynamo the dude with all the wires, lights and stuff on him. Lil hallucinating in my bed one night.

I pee on my own!!!!  Great words for a 2 year old and me.

I was going to tell ya how I got this shit.

I do not leave my house often. I have a shitty respiratory system, bronchitis every year, phenomena 5 times, high blood pressure since i was 14, and stage 2 diabetes.I knew Rona was not for me.

I moved my office back to my house in March and everything has been cool. We use contact less pick up at Wallyworld and use the Insti-cart at our Publix grocery store. No dinners out, no concerts, Nothing.

We walk 2.5 miles 2 x a day and always carry a mask. We avoid people by 20 feet or more. If anything is needed at our house, my son or wife went out and got it. Everything that entered the home went into the wipe down area and was disinfected before it came into the house. Over doing it? I don't know but we all felt good about it.

I would go to my shop at 530am and left by 700 before anyone came in and the same thing at night 6-7pm. My wife called me on October 1st and asked if I could stop by the grocery store and pick up 3 items. No Problem. I drove an extra 1/2 mile to Publix because they have a very strict policy on masks and it is a very clean store.

I grabbed my 3 items and a snack too and I was at the register when I felt a presence behind me. I turned and there is a woman in her mid 40's, who I have seen countless times around the store and town. she is 18 inches from me with no mask and a red nose and red and watery eyes. He hands are full with her stuff and before I could even open my masked mouth she coughs right into my face.

I knew it. I went into the store crapper and scrubbed my face and went directly home. Week later started with a sore throat................Selfish freedom rider who don't care about anyone but herself.

I will write again after my mid morning stripper comes in for a my private show, they don't put that perc on the news do they!  All covid patience get a daily lap dance. sponsored by the Donnie Foundation......

Sure glad to hear the great news, Tim !  Continued healing and good vibes to you and the family.

I hope you get to share your story with that thoughtless idiot who coughed when you see her again, if she's not dead. I'm just amazed by the stupidity and resistance to prevention measures.

((( Shirley )))

Tim,

Real glad to hear you're on the mend.  Wow, that story sucks...  "F" that woman invading your space.  It's insane how inconsiderate people are- even now with 150k cases a day.  150k!

Keep on keeping on, brother.  I appreciate our friendship and your outlook in life.  "Fromunder Cheese" had me laughing out loud.  How many days were you without a shower?  I've gone two weeks before and smelled awful and.... fromunder cheese.

For the record on my own health, I am feeling good.  Still waiting on my results unfortunately.  All 5 members of my immediate family were considerably sick this week.  My sister tested positive.  My brother can't smell or taste and my Mom and Dad are pretty sick but dealing.

Mom & Dad dropped off a huge thing of chix soup- he used to work as a chef.  It's amazing and nourishing.  "The World Seems Brighter on a Full Stomach".

Love to you all.

So glad to hear you're getting better Tim. What a disgrace Publix didn't enforce their mask requirement. I totally agree about the selfish morons who only care about their rights and not ours. I hate to wish bad things to anyone for fear of bad karma but fuck 'em all! They deserve everything coming to them for despicable behavior and lack of empathy.

Maybe I just never realized where you live Tim, but based on your Publix comment are you in Florida?

There talkin about getting me out of here tomorrow

I don't understand why siobud's doc didn't give him a rapid test.  Had one done today and they know within a half an hour.  Best wishes to your sick family :(.

Glad you can go home soon, T.  That person at Publix sounds like a complete moron.

I am so happy to hear that you're both (Tim and Jay) feeling better; that's a trend that needs to continue.
Love to you both.

I'm in similar medical categories to yours, Tim, and it adds an element of stress about Covid that can't be healthy. I don't go into stores. Period. Luckily curbside shopping is happening everywhere I would shop if I ask, or I just don't go there.

I feel confident knowing the #2 hospital in Chicago uses it on a daily basis.

Good to hear they are releasing you soon Mr. Flash.

Besides whatever Pills, try a few supplements that are said to help against the usual Cold / Flu and so forth..
(Cue the Idiot Squad with FOX and CNN quotes)...

So these won't kill you, but  Deinitely ask your Physician.
Vitamin C
Vitamin D3
B - Complex
Zinc in bioavailable form
Quercetin,  whatever that is.  Probably ground-up Armadillo feet. Look  it up; ask your physician Twice.

Now I'm wondering what the #1 hospital in Chicago uses.

I tested negative.  My sister, Mom and Dad are all positive.  Parents are pretty sick right now but doing OK.

Get tested for anti bodies in 3 weeks

Think of it this way: the middle of a grapefruit is filled with vitamin c. The nasty white coating that most people pull off is filled with the potent antioxidant, quercetin. They work synergistically.

A strong immune system can help to fight off the virus from the start, or lessen symptoms. It is no replacement for a mask and hand washing.

>>A strong immune system can help to fight off the virus from the start

I agree.  I haven't heard anything from public health officials about this simple fact at all.  It's all masks and social distancing- which I'm on board for and everything.... how about we begin emphasizing the importance of quality foods and lifestyle too though?

Tim I moved to Port St Lucie in April. We're neighbors! When this shit is over we have to do a show or something.

Got a buddy in a skilled nursing facility just tested positive. He's high risk and in crappy health. Facility has had 5 deaths. "Well, I guess you've seen me for the last time." Weird to hear those words.

^ fuck

that's great news jay

*side note*

did you ever get that package I sent?

Haven't checked in for a while. Holy smokes !!

Love and healing to everyone. I lost my Uncle a few weeks ago to it. Stay safe, wash your hands, wear a mask.

Love to all !!

I did not (!?!?)  I do recall you mentioning it but I haven't received anything.  Can you reach out to me via email?   [email protected].  Thanks!

Funny stuff.  That's where I had my test done this time.  Are you supposed to go in there and start questioning their methods?  I do realize there was a problem with rapid tests and false positives.

Also, good to hear your test came back negative Jay.

They released me on Friday.

Nice to see my bed, toilet, couch, family, pets, refrigerator, recliner................

You get the idea.

What a rough month and a half and for the first time I feel like I am actually have the upper hand on this crap.

Taste is coming back a lil more. I enjoyed some guava last night,  Damn it was good. My hearing is way way off, if you want to communicate with me I suggest you yell.

Thanks to each and every one of you for the kind words, vibes and prayers. I needed every one of them.

I love you black screen folks.

> if you want to communicate with me I suggest you yell.

GET WELL SOON!!!!! YOU'VE BEEN THROUGH HELL AND BACK

Glad to hear that you made it home. Stay strong!

That's great news Tim and Jay.  Hope your recovery and health keep improving for you and your families and that you have a happy Thanksgiving.

40 days since it left, for who knows why, I got my groove back.

My taste......Oh my wonderful taste.

Chicken Satay with peanut sauce.

It is orgasmic.

My buddy in the skilled nursing facility?

Thursday he calls with the news. I call him Thursday evening - no answer. Damn, did they have to take him to the hospital? Hope he has his phone.

Called Friday morning at 9 AM. He's there. He said "I'm just in quarantine for now." I told him "Dude, you told me not to make calls yet, but folks might want to talk to you." (Never know when that might not be possible.)

So he make a few calls on Friday. Friday evening they come in and tell him "Oops, you're not positive."  He's pissed. Asks me to call our pals back to tell them. At least it's good news.

So glad to hear the good news, Tim. Best to you and Ana and the whole clan for a very special Thanksgiving.

Awesome! When your hearing returns, don't tell anybody so you can have a good excuse for ignoring anybody who asks you to do something you don't want to do. wink

Yay!   New thread idea: Tim gets his taste back: Today's orgasmic flavor of the day
