oh yeah!

You know, news of you has come down the line
Even before ya came in the door
They say in your father’s house, there’s many mansions
Each one of them got a fireproof floor

----

John 14:2

In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Jerry should have done "Sweetheart Like You" with his band, he could have done a great version of it, right up his ally.  When I met him in Dec. '83 I suggested this and he said that he was considering it but alas it never happened.

Jerry would have slayed that. heart

Still one of my favorite Dylan albums

Democracy don't rule the world
You better get that in your head
This world is ruled by violence
But I guess that's better left unsaid

Here's an alternate version of Union Sundown. Infidels outtake - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LQb2hkhrcnI

Such a great album-glad I got to hear dylan do jokerman live!!

What's a sweetheart like you doing in a dump like this?

Really? That's gotta one of Dylan's only stinkers.

Actually, I don't need Sweatheart, Bully, or Fall Apart.

And the production sucks, frankly.

And he shoulda played License to Kill more live.

Hey Floops. Although I can't agree on your other comments, License to Kill should have definitely been in in the live rotation. But then again, so should have another 50+ Zimmy tunes.

Here's Bob & the Heartbreakers 6/6/86 Los Angeles. License to Kill + Shake a Hand.

Now, he's hell-bent for destruction, he's afraid and confused
And his brain has been mismanaged with great skill
All he believes are his eyes
And his eyes, they just tell him lies

Natch.
