I thought it was the Brooks Range from the pic I saw. I've been to the foothills, but haven't spent much time in the Range. What were you doing that far north?
i was backpacking up the hula hula, and over the divide southward toward the chandler river.... it was a 10 day'er.... amazing silence... lots of caribou.... but no bears....
i might go back next summer... ^^this was camp one day..
