Tropical Depression Jerry

Invest 95L is expected to become a tropical depression and then Tropical Storm Jerry. The system is moving quickly west-northwestward across the central tropical Atlantic and is becoming better defined. It has an 80% chance of formation over the next 48 hours and a 90% chance of formation over the next week. The storm is likely to be north of the Leeward Islands by the end of the week, with a northern turn expected. Residents in the Caribbean and along the U.S. East Coast are advised to closely monitor the storm's progress as it approaches the Lesser Antilles.
