Jerry Miller

Jerry and Moby Grape never got too much attention around this zone. Great guitarist - R I P

He was still playing locally a few years ago.  He played a couple of shows a few blocks away at the Blue Moon Tavern.

Moby Grape didn't stay together long enough to receive the acclaim they deserved.  Too bad Skip Spence  couldn't  keep it together.

R.I.P. Jerry.

RIP

He just played a few weeks back at a Skip Spence tribute @Chapel SF.

One of my favorite bar band guitarists...

I don't know if this just jogged a memory from the cobwebs of my mind, or if it's just my retroactive AI synapses firing randomly? But I definitely attended the Gibson 100th Anniversary Party at the Fillmore in SF mid-90s...The part I'm uncertain of is, was Jerry Miller the bearded Cowboy hat wearing guy standing next me up front in the audience watching Gregg Allman or not?! In any case Jerry Miller later that night got on the stage and just shredded, seemingly effortlessly!  Rest In Peace   heart
