So, I made it out to the Coast (many Jerseylanders call it "the Shore")  and Great Fun was had by all.

Paul's Tavern is in Lake Komo NJ, formerly South Belmar.  Perry Komo, the famous Las Vegas lounge singer, bought the town some years back.

It was a benefit for Rick Daley & Family;  he got hurt in an accident. Besides all of the Bands and tasty Food, there were several raffles / silent auctions for Cash & Prizes.

One lucky young Lady won the trip to Costa Rica, many different Gift Baskets were awarded, and Zoner ChuckM won the 50/50 raffle.  I purchased my raffle tickets just adjacent to his, however Lady Luck smiled upon Him that evening.  My guess is that Lady Luck really dug his awesome "Wolf"  T-Shirt.  Liek, Jerry's Wolf guitar Wolf.  Anyway, I tried calling him to get journalistic clearance, but the answering service gave out the official statement:  "ChuckM is driving his new Lamborghini to Havana at the moment, and won't be bothered for a Fortnight."

So the Bands all Raged, each in their own way, and most paid tribute to our departed Brother Mr. Butch Trucks with an Allmans tune.  DC-6 (District of Columbia Level ^6^) was of course the most rocking in this Epic Battle of the  Bands.  But we already knew that, eh?

I have many photos, however I am Androidian-Challenged, and can not get them from Fone to VLZ screen.  Perhaps some clever individual can teach me how to perform this basic task in the future. Maybe others have photos which they can post ??

So back to the Food.  Many people composed various buffet dishes, and it was all delicious. An entire room was devoted toward the dining experience. It made for a very welcoming, Family-like experience.   Lots of Italian-esque entrees like baked Ziti, pasta with Italian Sausage, and a crock-pot full of Kielbasa, Omion and Pasta. The Meatballs were succulent. I tried going back for Thirds but they had already been quaffed. The lady told me her recipe, but I am sworn to secrecy.  Oh, and there were cookies, cupcakes and tasty desserts.

Stellar Zoners were in attendance:  the aforementioned ChuckM, the lovely Mr. & Mrs. GotJorma,  Jonas, and of course Mr. & Mrs. Coyotte.

Alas, I could not bring the Hüsky, however I snagged a to-go plate of pasta salad for H.I.M. and mixed it into his kibble when I arrived home.  In retrospect, I could have smuggled H.I.M. in there, but he might have attacked a tray of Lasagna.

Morning Stu. I had a great time at this benefit. Good music & good food for a good cause. Kind of hard to top. The 50/50 was a nice bonus.

Always cool to see you man. It was also great to meet Coyotte & GotJorma (and the missus of course).

I'm really glad I made it out to this one!

A Huge thanks to Dan Tepper for the sound system and mixing the show.. it was recorded in 24 track and video too... All The bands Rocked it very hard!!!

Why is Jonas cropped out of the photos?!?

Conspiracy, I tell you.

Lol Zeke.

Great to see Gotjorma, Stu and all of the NJ/NY crew.   Stu's review pretty much nails it.  Food, music and venue were top notch.  I'm looking forward to getting back down there this summer.

I was a little off kilter after being stuck for almost 3 hours on the Garden State for an accident 15 cars in front of me. My condolences to all the families that were effected by that tragedy.

Sorry I didn't get to meet 'ya Jonas. I'm not really sure how that happened. Stu was telling me about that mess you ran into on the GSP.

Yeah Coyotte, Complicated Matter was great. I was impressed with those Led Zeppelin covers. Glad there's video.

Not bad for a couple of 20 year old kids who have only played out 3 times.... This was their 4th time

My ears are still ringing....

Chuck - not sure how that happened.  Hopefully our paths cross again soon.
