Jim Marshall Summer of Love Photo Exhibit (SF Content)

Nice! A good prelude to the 50th anniversary of the summer of love concert in GG park on June 4.

june  4 confirmed?

That's the date I heard some time ago when permits were being applied for.

6/4 is also Dead & Co at Shoreline.

Interesting - big free thing in GG Park and ridiculous cash grab at the dump.

I was bummed to miss hooking up with ya at the Boulder shows, and really wanted to find out what you came to think about the D&Co. tour. "All good things in all good time" i guess...Hey, i hope the new Job is working out fantastic for you,...you deserve it.

Hit me up if you get a minute at [email protected], I'm working on launching a Benefit Corporation for the Booze-pops project ( we got invited to WOODSTOCK 50TH ANNIVERSARY ) and would really appreciate any advice you could offer about what not to do as much as what to do for our upcoming web site!

Puddles:

For the record I enjoyed Dead & Co way more than I thought I would.
Plenty to like - a lot of flow and good jamming in that band.
Loved seeing the Boulder run but my favorite was Wheatland (Marysville), CA - night before Shoreline.

I had an absolutely epic 5 months of unemployment (except for being denied unemployment and having to fork out huge sums to survive my mortgage).

-Saw 4 Dead Co shows: 2 Boulder, Wheatland and Shoreline
-Wound up working as a Main Stage sound tech at Oregon Country Fair
-Jammed my ass off at Redwood Ramble in Mendocino and Strawberry Music Fest in Tuolumne.
-Caught Phil Lesh w Mike Gordon and Jackie Greene at TXR.
-3 great Phish shows at the SF Civic.
-Saw many other great local gigs.
-Got pit passed at Desert Trip weekend #2.
-Got VIP'd with Corporate Box and 102 J at Shoreline for Bridge Benefit day 2.

Got Employed with the CIty of San Francisco Dept of Tech in Sept.

Hope you and your's are well in CO.

Looking to put '16 where the sun don't shine - even though, outside of politics I had a pretty decent year.

Not to shabby,...i have enjoyed my last several years like that and am now ready to saddle up and RIDE!

Looking like the jumping off point for us, as were building a fantastic flying machine designed to take us where we want to be.....you know "Down Front Both Nights" for the entire year is the goal. My friend "Douggie Fresh" owns the WOODSTOCK trademark and festival rights ( along with a few other nut cases )  and has been egging me on to recreate the 'Dye Printing Business'  but i have been too busy running the Booze-Pop's thing to follow through,....Now i see the way to be both a Charitable and profitable (for the staff mostly,..lol)  operation that lets me do the Clothing, Poster Art, and Freeze-Pop combo above the table and in a way that generates contributions for disadvantaged kids, and lets the staff pay their bills while seeing most of the major festivals. I am looking to find a 'TECH ZAR' down the road and have always thought of you as the right guy for the job (not big $$$ but huge FESTING BENEFITS for sure!) as i get clearer on exactly how we want to proceed i would love your input,( no pressure or obligation just an open opportunity, you know how i operate.... ) not to mention a hook up to your connections out in the 'FESTIVAL WORLD' we want to start donating to the artists at more festivals -  cuz' who does not want a killer organic, CBD infused (inflammation blocking) treat after that third set?

"without love in the dream it will never come true' is pretty fantastic advice, but first you have to DREAM it right?

Hey speaking of connections can you help me find LIZZY

If you have a real viable technical consultant need - I'd love to be involved, but based on my oddball carreer trajectory it remains unclear whether my skills would hurt or help you.

And as far as a life of festing goes I'd be game for it but I can't get past my own particular need to not just see music,  - but to play it!
More often than not I come home from gigs I've played saying to myself, "why do I bother?"  But the endorphin rush and pleasure remains and I continue to pursue it.

But eventually this fuckin' town is gonna become to ridiculous to afford to exist in.  It's very close to stupid right now and I'm not sure why I remain other than the roots are deep, my music life has connections, the live music scene thrives, the weather is pleasant and I enjoy the Bubble and don't want to be forced to commiserate with objectionable Trump Leaning fucktards.

Ping me via my profile email and I'll shoot ya Lizzy's 411!

Happy New Year!

Cool,...yes it would be a consulting thing,....and ODDBALL is exactly what i seek!

I understand about wanting to be creating the music and not just be a passive observer....Mostly what were planning would create the opportunity to go free and styled out to Festivals that we would otherwise not be able to attend and to get paid for that time and effort, my friend Douggie has offered to hook us up with the Promoters of such monsters as 'Electric Daisy EDM in Vegas' and once were in on that kind of thing i believe it will go nuts,....We get nothing but positive feed back and requests for our mailing service are at this time unmanageable to put it mildly. We want JAZZ FEST access next, and being a Benefit Corp. kind of greases the way in....our goal is to give back 10 to 20% of the generated $$$ to the local community after each festival to kids programs, poverty assistance organizations, and food banks. Either in a Cash or food donation depending on what makes since.

Glad to catch ya here, i will be hitting you up at your address pretty soon,...keep on 'ENJOYING THE RIDE'!
