Three legendary bands that found fame in the 1970s led the list of inductees as the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced today (Dec. 20) its Class of 2017 inductees. JourneyYes and Electric Light Orchestra were inducted along with Pearl JamJoan Baez and Tupac Shakur.

Cover all them bases.

My first show in 1978 was the World Series of Rock in Cleveland, OH.

ELO headlined with support from Foreigner, Journey and Trickster.

Life changing event for me.enlightened

Elo w starcastle (lady of the lake) and firefall in 78 i think...great show ...even if elo was using tapes...saw them 2 other x...always a fun show

When is Warren Zevon gonna get inducted

My first concert was at MSG in 1977 with ELO and Steve Hillage opening.

I was very impressed with ELO.

Saw ELO at MSG in '79 with UK opening.  Full space ship stage with massive lazer show.  Tons of hits.

First saw Yes at MSG too - in the round - full power.  Mind definitely blown.

Journey???surprise

Saw them open for the Stones in 78 and 81.

78 Soldier Field they rocked the place.

81 JFK they sucked.

I would not put legendary and Journey in the same sentence. Bubble gum rock at best.

Three bands that I could not possibly care less about.  Which is representative of why I could not possibly care less about the R&R HOF.

No Little Feat again...

WTF!!!

YES

My 9th grade hero's

More interested in Pearl Jam and 2Pac making the cut.

Yes so clearly deserves this bogus "honor".

Truly one of the great live rock bands ever.

They stood the test of time, they re-invented themselves, more than once, all these years later their vestiges continue.

They were a great band.

There's a difference between not liking something and something not being any good.

Like 'em or not, Yes was REALLY good.

I didn't notice YES sandwiched in there.

I was big fan as a kid and saw them at MSG too in '77 & '78.

They blatantly deserve this.

Yes, Yes deserves this ridiculous honor. The whole thing is anti-R&R. I'm sure Jerry didn't show up because of the BS of it all. I was actually at the museum in Cleveland years ago because of work in Cleveland. Bored to death. Who cares about seeing the clothes Rod Stewart wore on his tours. They had John Cipollinas guitar and amp in a glass case. Who cares! Total joke. I did buy some GD post cards in the gift shop though. I guess it was ok for a bored day in Cleveland in winter. Nothing else to do. They did have an ok inside market I saw on tv where I bought some killer, very hot hot sauce. And in the supermarkets you could buy northern pike fish. Never saw that before.

"When is Warren Zevon gonna get inducted"

When they REMOVE MADONNA!

HAHA!

Yes this thing is a joke, I was there a long time ago, saw I think it was Rosebud in a glass case.

Was playing a few gigs in Ohio, Akron, Kent State.

had an extra day, so what else to do in Cleveland, aka the Mistake by the Lake!

All that being said R&R HOF is silly.

I say it every year!
