Wish I was on the East Coast for this one.
Due to unforeseen circumstances, Kamasi Washington will not be performing his planned sets at the @Newport Jazz Festival on Friday August 4. Fortunately, our friend and certified legend, the one and only Branford Marsalis, will be joining the celebration with his own set, as well as joining JRAD for a closing set that is sure to be one for the ages.

Such a beautiful place to see
Such a beautiful place to see music if they haven't changed the location. Nothing but good memories of sitting on the bay listening to Ella Fitzgerald and Dizzy Gillespie. That gives you and idea of how long it's been since I've been there.
I think that Marco and Branford will have something to add to the conversation. Have fun.
