This is my first post here and I'm using it to say that OMFGoodness! JRAD has gotten so fucking good it's inspiring!
I wasn't the biggest JRAD fan when I first started hearing them on couch tour. They've always been excellent, but it was too New York for me (i. e. -- too much virtuosity and not so much about the band being played by the music). But clearly JRAD gets it now! The feel is great (although the horns are less organic, but WTH? Fill the stage, it's NYE!). Joe Russo is an excellent musician, so it's no surprise that JRAD has mellowed under his leadership. It's also no surprise that the music is still as awesome as it ever was. Bands will be playing GD music and people will be listening to it for a long time to come.
Thanks for the new zone! I think it's better than the old zone!
