You may not have heard that in some small town in Kansas a judge issued a search warrant to search and seize everything at the local newspaper because some politically connected restaurant owner didn't want her DUI made public because she was applying for a liquor license and you can't do that if you have a DUI. The police were all to happy to go along because the newspaper was investigating the police as well.
So there is a federal law that explicitly prohibits issuing search and seizure warrants on newspapers. But apparently the dumb ass local judge was probably too drunk to know that, because she herself had not one, but two DUI's and she got her second one when her license was revoked for the first DUI by driving drunk and crashing into the side of school.
When I first read this story I knew these locals were opening a shit storm of biblical proportions on themselves and they were all just too stupid to know because they lived comfortably in their Fox News bubble.

As horribly, terribly, horrifically bad as the predicate to raid the newspaper, a co-owner then died from the stress on the night of the raid...
unadulterated ignorance is no excuse for not knowing basic civil rights...these same fuckers know EVERY FUCKING WORD AND PUNCTUATION MARK in their favorite amendment

Yeah I've been thinking of
Yeah I've been thinking of getting a 1A sticker for my car for all the 2A people out there, but these days a 6A would be better. Hopefully the 2A people would go home and look up what my 6A sticker means which Protects the right to a speedy public trial by jury.
