I am so sick of all the hate that is happening in Nevada County. The Tea Party has caused lots of problems the last few years, NOW they have reformed into a new splinter group called the " Deplorables "
A representative from ‘The Deplorables,’ a Nevada County coalition of conservative organizations, told The Union in an email that the group planned to hold a ‘major demonstration’ at Griffin’s Grass Valley event before the Center for the Arts announced its decision to cancel it.
This is only the tip of the iceberg stay tuned for more, this even made the national news today

Unfortunately, due to recent actions for which she has publicly apologized, we have received hundreds of angry and threatening emails and phone calls including threats to the Vets Hall building and our community. While we support Ms Griffin’s public apology we cannot in good faith put our patrons, staff, volunteers, or the artist at risk. We wholeheartedly support free speech but in light of this situation, our first priority must be public safety and we feel it is in the best interest of our community of which we serve, to cancel this event. Thank you for your continued support and understanding.”

She sold out the Vet's Hall with over 900 tickets sold. Kathy's new book "Kathy Griffin’s Celebrity Run-Ins" is selling really well. I heard a interview the other day on KVMR and she was really funny. I am not a huge fan, she does make me laugh.
