Tom and Matt are both excellent guitar players.  This will be good.  Wish I could go.

Kinda funny; kinda sad. Not too many left.

Could be other pranksters, but I know George is there

Love the Space Helmet graphic. As Bill Graham put it in his excellent Auto-Bio  I believe it was an Acid Test at The Fillmore when Bill found that Kesey was letting a lot of hippies in the side door, and when confronted by Bill, Ken just dropped the glass on his space helmet that he was wearing, and proceeded with his work.

Did I get this right?  laugh

The book I'm referring to is "Bill Graham Presents", an amazing read, by Uncle Bobo.

I forgot about this event. Reports? Photos?

Had a blast, went to one of George Walkers homes down there first so Lee could change for the gig, good times.  I took a bunch of videos, pics, take a while to go through it all, but was decent turnout, lots of dancing and prancing, old friends, good times!  Here's a few pics;

cool man

Just saw Going Furthur within the past year.  It was actually the first time I spent any time looking at footage or even trying to understand what the trip was about ... even though I had a good idea.  After being exposed to the movie, I realized that I probably wouldn't be a good merry prankster on the whole ... but could've gotten along.

I'm currently in the midst of "Travels With Charley" and would have to say that Steinbeck's "approach" is far closer to how I travel cross country in terms of not calling too much attention to myself in a tripped out way.

Yep. The space helmet.  That was a great story from Bill's book.  Must have drove the dude nuts.

Great pics.  Sounds like it was a good time.

Happy Birthday
