Near Princeton BC [Canada] - about 4 hours East of Vancouver BC. Shaping up to be an awesome time. Acreage, swimming, camping, & lots of fat jams.

We were planning to drive up to this fest w/ this epic lineup... but my FIL had a stroke 3 weeks ago, so we are staying close to home for the next few weeks.

Really sorry to miss this music.

Web stream?

Have fun at the Canadian Poodle Factory Fest....

BC gets all the good shows

Just noticed the time allotments for each act ... really dig the format of full show for headliner and 1:30 - 2:00 hours for other acts.

Not really into festivals that have a 8 one hour acts with a headliner coming in at 1:30.  Would much rather rip the roof of my mouth apart with a single giant box of Cap'n Crunch vs. getting teased with a "variety pack" of little boxes of cereal.

With temps close to 100 F all this week at Snug Lake, and no shower facilities, it will be baby-wipe city and group dipping in the lake.

On the upside, since the fest also doesn't have a license to sell alcohol, attendees are allowed to bring in as much as they want... even kegs! (I checked when I was originally doing trip planning for this.)

But they did prioritize providing a weed supply -- there will be a dispensary booth at vending -- brilliant!

Sigh, can't go to all the fun fests!

Although there's room for 4000, probably half of that number will attend. The festival is at about 4000 feet above sea level - hot in the day and cool at night.

Video quality is blurry but the sound is all there:

The SCI sets are on the archive. Fareed Haque, Alan Hertz and Oteil sat in for a nice Impressions (Coltrane).
