Last Day Of Summer

Forums:

We can dream of an endless summer, but Monday at 11:19 a.m. Pacific time, the season turns to Fall.

I'm ready it's still mostly feels like over a hundred.

Raising the skeleton tonight.  We will be doing WSP in Savannah for Halloween so a friend is hosting the old stack of bones and roses this year.

Now the Days Start Falling into FALL Crispy NUG Harvests To ALL.   ZZzzZ. cool

Boys of Summer

Nobody on the road, nobody on the beach
I feel it in the air, the summer's out of reach
Empty lake, empty streets, the sun goes down alone
I'm drivin' by your house, though I know you're not home

But I can see you, your brown skin shinin' in the sun
You got your hair combed back and your sunglasses on, baby
And I can tell you my love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone

I never will forget those nights, I wonder if it was a dream
Remember how you made me crazy?
Remember how I made you scream?
Now I don't understand what happened to our love
But baby I'm gonna get you back
I'm gonna show you what I'm made of

I can see you, your brown skin shinin' in the sun
I see you walkin' real slow and you're smilin' at everyone
I can tell you my love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone

Out on the road today I saw a Deadhead sticker on a Cadillac
A little voice inside my head said
"Don't look back you can never look back"
I thought I knew what love was, what did I know?
Those days are gone forever, I should just let them go but

I can see you, your brown skin shinin' in the sun
You got that top pulled down and that radio on baby
And I can tell you my love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone

I can see you, your brown skin shining in the sun
You got that hair slicked back and those Wayfarers on, baby
I can tell you my love for you will still be strong
After the boys of summer have gone

In beautiful New Paltz, we brace for half of NJ each weekend for the next six weeks.

The "Leaf Peepers" are great for local businesses  and farmers selling pumpkins & apples.

Not so much for traffic, but like the geese flying south, NJ moving north is a sign of the changing seasons

Done come and gone - my oh my.

summer kinda sucks honestly. so hot and sweaty. im always itching for fall by early august

In the PNW it's dry in the summer. Nice for hanging out, unless we get threatened by wildfires, which seems to happen every year now.

Actual and feel-like temps above 100, dew points at 75 and above make me wish summer away. I like the cool down of October.

It has been a glorious summer in Sacramento. No smoke. Less than 10 days over a 100. Just the perfect summer temps hot afternoons and cool mornings. I think we will be talking about this summer for years to come.
