Saratoga 6/28/88 - A very good show all around, but I really love the Stella Blue here.

Buckeye Lake 93 on youtube.....I think another voodoonola special

A had an audience tape of that show for years and if anyone needs the definition of  'East Coast Energy' they need to look no further.  The crowd was bonkers.

7-7-69

2-7-89 on XM the other day.

I know it's not a GD song, but when I woke up I had Rainbow's Cadillac stuck in my head.  Thus, I listened to it.  I am in an upbeat mood, so I then listened to a GD 1988 Scarlet Fire.  I am going to dance me way through the day.  Some of it will be done at Target, and the mall.  I hate to shop, so I am going to take my pad, and head phones.  I have never shopped while jamming to music in my head.  Any suggestions for a show that will help me make it through the shopping experience?

1981.

Under-appreciated...nice jams and general floating danceable spaciness abounds.

Agree Jonas. It's not hard to find examples of it from other shows, but yeah, Saratoga '88 was pretty intense in the crowd.

Love the Nov-Dec 73 shows. That 11-14-73 has some hot stuff, & don't overlook the 12/8-12.73 shows.  12/5/79, https://archive.org/details/gd79-12-05.aud.warner.19418.sbeok.shnf

Been sifting through some Dec. 72 as well, some nice PITB & Dark STars. Dead essay on Dec. 72 > http://deadessays.blogspot.com/2009/12/december-1972.html

10/26/89 from the "50 Circles" set.

Burning copies for Christmas presents.

"2-7-89 on XM the other day."

My girlfriend at the time heard this as well, sent me a note about how it brought back good memories from our time at that run.

XM broadcast 11/29/81, Pittsburgh today.

Decent show.

Th5£e '81 Hampton show Thom sent me. Thanks again!

Excellent Jeff!

I was at that Pittsburgh show Bluelight.  First show after they returned from the European tour.  Bobby played a Telecaster for the first few songs of each set which puzzled us until we learned about the Milkweg gigs.  It must have sparked an interest.

I was spinning RFK 91 the other day. It's really a smoker. I think that may be the last show I saw that I was really impressed by.

Now I am going to check out that 11/14/73

Looks great, I love 73 and the Solo drummer stuff

thank you

10/21/1983 has a really good Scarlet Fire.

4/3/82 Second show of Jerry next to Brent. Went to Durham, Norfolk and Baltimore on that tour.

2nd set was a doozy.

Listening to 2-7-89 on satellite. Pretty sweet show. Great archive sbd here.
