im gonna have to jump on the rare chance to see edge of the west on the west coast. back on the original zone when we had more members, i recall a group of east coasters who were really into edge of the west in the same way that us west coasters are ravenous for DNB shows, and the 2 bands and their fanbases have lots of similarities, but it seems like these days on viva we have a much larger west coast contingent and i dont hear much, if any, chatter regarding edge of the west.
from the little ive heard from them, it seems VERY similar to DNB, but with less/shorter jams? not totally sure, i havent listened much since they dont seem to play many shows near me. going to be fun to have a chance to see them with the day/evening padded out by the best band in the land plus a new sless project and a bit of bluegrass.
