Yeah 'cause the water's way too Fuckin' cold to even dip your toe in . . .

Where's the roller coasters, the arcades? Looks pretty dull.

The playground is nice. Been there. The rest of the boardwalk is OK. Not sure how this would qualify as the premier boardwalk. Top 20 maybe.

The Beach Plum, about 10 minutes north, serves a solid Lobster Roll.

nice clickbaitey title (;

wanna great beach?

joisey shore or STFU!

right, Mrs Sideshow?! (:

Jersey shore is ok if you wanna tiptoe your way around a million folks to get anywhere near the water

I'll take a day trip to Plum Island instead!

Jersey Shore vs Hampton Beach

What's this the white trash championships of America?

lol..you got it jlp...:)

We are going to Sea Isle this summer for a week, got a spot right on beach :) My son did it for my Mom and myself as a surprise, she likes to sit on porch and people watch ! Also a lot of cool hangin out beach bars within walking distance as he is celebrating his 33rd birthday while we are there. Lots of good fishing in Strathmere/Townsends Inlet too.

Avalon/Stone Harbor/Sea Isle are my favs for nice beach and towns. Cape May Point/ Lighthouse is my fav lil getaway from all spot ( never crowded).

Now most choose Ocean City, NJ ...I feel it is too crowded and snotty, uppity, rude people there. But they have a nice boards and rides for kiddies.

The Big Guns are in Wildwood, NJ...everyone who grew up here has been there at one time or another, the board is huge and at least 2 maybe more very large piers of rides and games ( I'm a sucker for the water balloon game myself...lol ). The beach is way big and I prefer a quieter place to relax, but most folks stay at their preferred spot then drive to the boards for a nite of fun :)

Many memories come flooding in when I think of South Jersey shore as a child,my mom still has pics and tells us of how they used to camp on the beach in something called " Tent city"...her face lights up with a big smile every time she goes back there in her mind....

Were not talking snookie chic here, this is SOUTH Jersey, mostly made up of farming and back bay fishing, very laid back folks from here. Now the shoobies...that's another story.lol !

Brigantine Beach is  nice too ( ck it out Fish), i lived there a bit, all residential and a  great community...
