Apparently we have finally gotten to the bottom of Hillary's loss to Trump.....
“So this was different because they went public, and they were conveying this weaponized information and the content of it, and they were running, y’know there’s all these stories, about y’know, guys over in Macedonia who are running these fake news sites, and you know I’ve seen them now, and you sit there and it looks like you know sort of low level CNN operation, or a fake newspaper.”
Who knew that a few of these guys could throw a U.S. Presidential election?

Hillary sucks, but not as bad
Hillary sucks, but not as bad as Trump.
There were kids in Macedonia making fake news, but it wasn't the election they cared about. It was money. They made good money doing it.
Now, I have special affections for Macedonia. I grew up in Dayton, home of the Bosnian Peace Accords. As you may remember, Macedonia, like Bosnia, was part of the former Yugoslavia. Macedonia was the only country to exit Yugoslavia and not dragged into the war because of it.
My last trip to Macedonia was about 10 years ago. Unemployment statistics by the government put it around 40%. To be honest, it was probably much higher, especially outside of the capital of Skopje. That being said, it was far from dismal or depressing. The people were wonderful, and unhurried for the most part. There was evidence of serious ethnic & religious tension, and political corruption, but it was a wonderful place.
As soon as my affairs are in order, I plan to return, and to snag a little plot of land, and enjoy my final years growing grapes, making cheese, and making love with my woman watching the sun set, with very little cares about the US election.

Patriotic Russians may have staged cyber attacks on own initiative: Putin
President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that patriotic Russian hackers may have staged cyber attacks against countries that had strained relations with Moscow on their own initiative, but said the Russian state had never been involved in such hacking.
Putin, speaking to international media at an economic forum in St Petersburg, was answering a question about allegations Moscow might try to interfere in this year's German elections.

Andrew Therriault made it clear that he has no intention of serving as Hillary Clinton’s scapegoat — at least for a little while. The former Director of Data Science for the DNC took to Twitter early this morning to castigate the two-time fumbler on presidential elections for her “f****** b***s***” accusations. Sometime later in the morning, Therriault apparently thought better of his attack, but Jay Caruso captured his tweets before they got deleted
The facade is crumbling.
Not a twitchy fan, but they've got the info on this one.
