Anyone see her live? What was it like?

She's on my bucket list, not because I like or even know her music, but because I want to see her stage show. Years ago someone gave me  SBD bootleg of hers from 1988, and her "x factor" oozed through the speakers

Last night I watched her Rebel Heart concert on Shotime. Holy fuck, that woman delivers. I was totally captivated, even by the stuff that I didn't really like. Her talent is undeniable.

Who else, from a totally different genre than rock, would be cool to see? Janet Jackson, Xtina? Carrie Underwood?

she is on my bucket list also but not sure I have a chance

Fish, do you like her music, or do you want to see her for the same reasons as me?

Be sure to catch Aretha Franklin if you have never seen her. Tina Turner blew my mind when I saw her- Cyndi Lauper opener. Great show. Almost forgot Dolly Parton- really good.

Isn't she busy keeping up her end of the deal with these people?

She's on Showtime right now. A concert from her Rebel heart tour.

I bet Weir did her. Or most likely she did Weir.

Personally I can't stand her.

I heard Borderline about 200 times on a ten-day cruise.

I wanted her dead for a few years after that.

Same for Billy Ocean, to be fair.

Saw Like A Prayer tour in 1990 in Rotterdam when I lived in Amsterdam . Though the show was really good and she had enough songs I liked not to mention other reasons to want to see her up close and personal lol.

Then I saw her at Petco in 2008 w my wife who is way into her music and it SUCKED!!! Way more lipsincing and unnecessary bullshit . To much show and her music, the same songs I like and still like we're rearranged and what not and it was almost unbearable.

Last st year I bought a pair of tickets for my wife and told her to treat her friend.

I bet Weir did her<<<

Before or after Dennis Rodman?

I took my wife to this show for our anniversary. It was certainly an extravaganza. I didn't groove on the total choreography.

Madison Square Garden, New York, NY

Future Lovers/I Feel Love (Medley), Get Together, Like A Virgin, Jump, Live To Tell (Interlude)> Live To Tell, Forbidden Love, Isaac, Sorry, Like It Or Not, Sorry Remix (Video Interlude), I Love New York, Ray of Light, Let It Will Be, Drowned World> Substitute for Love, Paradise (Not For Me), Medley: Music> Disco Inferno, Erotica> You Thrill Me, La Isla Bonita, Lucky Star, Hung Up

I'd like to see her with Bowie's band from the Reality Tour, and I'd like to see them go setlistless, in GD style, and then I'd see a few shows.

I'd be really impressed if you reeled off that setlist from memory.

Overall, was it worth the time to see her p,at live? It's not my scene, but I bet it would be really fun and interestiong.

Does she actually sing anything live besides the choruses?

Thought for some reason that was the story. You know how that goes.......lol

Go see Pink....

A younger version of madonna ....

It would be fun and interesting if it were free, or if money were no issue. It was still okay, but I'd never go again.

You don't just see Madonna and her band, you also see whatever circus she brought along with her.

And no, I can't reel that off the top of my head; I have a list of all the shows I've been to.

Oh, and as far as I know, she sang live without tapes. She doesn't have that good a voice and it showed.

I'd think if she were to use tapes, she would chose a better performance.

La Isla Bonita was really good because she started it by herself on acoustic guitar.

I've pretty much always liked her pop music, but I could do without the dancing and the acrobatics.

As I said, if she got a great touring band and mixed up her setlist every night, I bet it would be great.

I'd certainly go a few times.
