Manuka Honey

Forums:

Anyone heard of this shit? I was researching raw honey yesterday and came across it. It's harvested from wild hives in New Zealand, where the bees feed exclusively off the Tea Tree plant. It gets knocked off, so it is now graded by some governing body.

Get this...the highest grade I could find is $270 for 8.8 oz!

Has anyone had it? Is it really that special?

I haven't heard of it, but everything else aside, did what you read mention if it has the antidotal properties of Tea Tree on homeopathic remedies. Most homeopaths caution against using Tea Tree oil with remedies.

Didn't see any contraindications to homeopathy, but I wasn't looking that hard. The honey itself is supposed to have properties of Tea Tree, but even more so. It can supposedly be used as a salve to cure eczema and burns, and ingesting it may cure stomach ailments, etc. The grading system has something to do with the mount of the healing shit that's in it.

imo it is just hype.  i used manuku honey in the 80's when it was just another flavor.

the health food industry has attributed to it cures of all kind, &  then increased the cost.

any un-pasturized, un-filtered raw honey will produce the desired effect

$500 a pound seems a bit silly!

Put it on your balls

I do love the Dr. Josh Axe book "Eat Dirt". Some real good info in that book...

Tea tree oil is not homeopathic. It has anti bacterial, anti viral and anti fungal properties. It isn't expensive.

Classic homeopathy requires a 90 minute intake interview.

Christy Brinkley swears by it..
