This year's Maplewoodstock on July 14 and 15 in Maplewood, NJ looks to be one of the best yet. Third World headlining on July 14th and Josh Ritter and The Royal City Band on the 15th. Each day has a full undercard of bands starting at noon and anyone who has attended in the past knows there are always some real gems in there, so it pays to get there early, stake some ground, and hang in the natural amphitheater.
Hope to see you there.

jklowan ~ over the years, I
jklowan ~ over the years, I've learned to not sleep on any of the undercard bands at Maplewoodstock. The talent bookers are some very talented people and there hasn't been one year that I didn't walk away wowed by more than one band. Some of these bands have never even crossed my radar in any fashion. Impressive feat.
