Democrats Teaming Up With Linda Sarsour For Anti-Trump ‘March For Truth’
At least eight Democrats in Congress are teaming up with controversial Palestinian-American activist Linda Sarsour for the anti-Trump “March for Truth” taking place Saturday.
Democratic Reps. Jerrold Nadler, Nydia Velasquez, Brad Sherman, Mike Quigley, Al Green, Robin Kelly, Jamie Raskin and Donald McEachin are among the featured speakers at Saturday’s protest, according to a press release organizers put out on Tuesday. Sarsour is also listed as a featured speaker and the organization she helps lead, Women’s March, is one of the left-wing groups organizing Saturday’s protest.
Sarsour has faced criticism over her known ties to terrorist group Hamas, her defense of sharia law, her claim that Saudi Arabia puts America “to shame”because it treats women so well, and her position that Islam critic and female genital mutilation victim Ayaan Hirsi Ali “doesn’t deserve” to be a woman and should have her vagina taken away. Sarsour also appeared at an event last month alongside convicted Palestinian terrorist Rasmea Odeh.

Fox's Shepard Smith slams Trump lies over Russia meeting: The deception “is mind boggling”
Fox anchor Chris Wallace: “You know, I don’t know what to say”
SHEPARD SMITH (HOST): Fox News can now confirm new, more -- Donald Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, Paul Manafort, the lawyer from Russia, the interpreter, this new guy we found out about today, and a mystery person.
John Roberts confirms there was an eighth person in that meeting. We don't know, there may have been more, but there was an eighth. Jared Kushner filled out his form, I think it's an F-86, saying who he'd met with and what he had done.
Very important stuff, you can go to prison for messing it up, you know, intentionally. He went back and added 100 names and places. None of these people made it. It's still not -- we're still not clean on this, Chris.
It's -- if there's nothing there and that's what they tell us, they tell us there's nothing to this and nothing came of it, there's a nothing burger, it wasn't even memorable, didn't write it down, didn't tell you about it, because it wasn't anything so I didn't even remember it, with a Russian interpreter in the room at Trump Tower.
If all of that, why all of these lies? Why is it lie after lie after lie? If you're clean, come out clean. You know, my grandmother used to say "When first we practice to -- oh, what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive."
The deception, Chris, is mind boggling. And there are still people out there who believe we're making it up, and one day they're going to realize we're not, and look around and go, "Where are we? And why are we getting told all these lies?"
CHRIS WALLACE: You know, I don’t know what to say. I think there’s a lot of truth to everything you said.

I don't really support banning Women Drivers any more than banning old Folks from driving. But the Sharia thing is fascinating as a look at the Muslimist cultural paradigm.
First they want to ban my Pork Ribs, then they want to mutilate my Vagina, next thing they're hassling my Booze.
That is all antithetical to a Civilized Culture. Those type of Thugs are not welcome on my Farm.

I'm glad you brought up that topic, Mr. Divide.
While I've never actually feasted upon my Brother Raccoon, I did spare one's life just the other day. S/he darted in front of the car after Dusk, and I applied the brakes in time to avoid squishing it. Only a few minutes prior, the same thing happened with an Opossum.
I fully support the local wildlife eking out a living, as long as they don't fuck up my stuff.

The blackmail factor:
The blackmail factor: Trumpworld’s Russia lies are a major risk to national security
The Russians know the truth and Trump knows they know.
The Trump team’s habit of lying in public about its contacts with various official and unofficial emissaries of the Russian government is problematic on its own terms, but especially troubling because it raises the possibility thatAmerican foreign policy could be influenced by the fear of blackmail.
That, you’ll recall, was the basis for the original bombshell Trump/Russia leak story in which it came out that US government surveillance of Russian Ambassador Sergey Kislyak revealed that he and former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn had discussions about sanctions during the Obama-Trump transition period. For an incoming administration staffer to discuss sanctions with an ambassador is not a crime or necessarily scandalous. But Flynn, seemingly aware of the political sensitivities around the Trump/Russia nexus, lied about the conversation both externally and internally to the administration.
Unlike the public, the media, the Congress, the FBI, or the special counsel’s office, Russian intelligence services know exactly what went down between their government and the Trump campaign. Their knowledge of the facts, paired with Trumpworld’s relentless dishonesty and the high consequences of seeing that dishonesty revealed, means a potentially large swath of Trump’s inner circle has been (and may still be) exposed to blackmail.
And that, in turn, makes it hard for the country — and our allies — to trust that American policy toward Russia is being made in service of American interests rather than in service of keeping Trump’s team out of legal and political trouble.
This might be easy to ignore if Trump’s attitude and policies toward Russia were typical for an American politician. But from his contempt for NATO to his unwillingness to punish Moscow for election meddling, they’re not.
The Donald Trump Jr. scandal is new to us, but not to the Russians
Consider the entire tale of Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with Russian lawyer Natalia Veselnitskaya.
Trump Jr. said, quite publicly, and over a period of many months, that he had no meetings with representatives of the Russian government. He calledallegations that anyone on the team might have worked with the Russians “disgusting” and “phony.” President Trump and many of his spokespeople have maintained that was true of the entire campaign.
And yet we now know that it wasn’t true. At a minimum, Junior, Jared Kushner, and campaign manager Paul Manafort went to a meeting with Veselnitskaya under the impression that the purpose of the meeting was for her to provide them with incriminating information about Hillary Clinton. That effort, according to the emails, was “part of Russia and its government’s support for Mr. Trump.”
That information was eyebrow-raising when aspects of it became public on Sunday, dramatic when more was revealed Monday night, and positively explosive when the emails themselves came into the open on Tuesday.
But Veselnitskaya — a Moscow-based attorney and lobbyist for Russian interests in the United States — knew it all along.

Yesterday, the “Women’s March
Yesterday, the “Women’s March” tweeted birthday greetings for one of the FBI’s most-wanted domestic terrorists, a woman by the name of Assata Shakur
Who is Shakur? The FBI’s account of her crimes, written in dry, bureaucratic language, should be horrifying enough:
"On May 2, 1973, Chesimard, who was part of a revolutionary extremist organization known as the Black Liberation Army, and two accomplices were stopped for a motor vehicle violation on the New Jersey Turnpike by two troopers with the New Jersey State Police. At the time, Chesimard was wanted for her involvement in several felonies, including bank robbery. Chesimard and her accomplices opened fire on the troopers. One trooper was wounded and the other was shot and killed execution-style at point-blank range. Chesimard fled the scene, but was subsequently apprehended. One of her accomplices was killed in the shoot-out and the other was also apprehended and remains in jail."
But that’s hardly the full story. In an extended Washington Post piece, Krissah Thompson provided context for Shakur’s crimes. Her shootout with the police didn’t happen because an otherwise-innocent person was caught at the wrong place, at the wrong time. She was an active terrorist. As Thompson notes, her “involvement [in the black power movement] was deeper than sit-ins and protests; her activism was of the sort that led to open discussion of the possibility of a race war. She was among the ’self-styled revolutionaries who committed acts of violence that they defined as revolutionary, inspired by guerrilla revolts in places like Cuba.’” In fact, even before the fatal 1973 shootout she was alleged to have committed a number of other brazen crimes.
All told, “from 1970 to 1984, the BLA was responsible for four bombings, four hijackings and 32 violent armed confrontations in the United States. Sixteen of those involved confrontations with law enforcement officers who were killed.” In other words, by every reasonable contemporary definition of terrorism, Shakur was a violent terrorist who belonged to a violent terrorist organization. In 1979, she escaped from prison, fled to Cuba, and has been celebrated by radical leftists ever since.
One final note, two weeks ago defenders on the Left claimed that it was sheer nonsense that Women’s March organizer Linda Sarsour could possibly mean anything violent when she called for a “form of jihad” against the Trump administration. Yet today, her movement tweets support for a terrorist. You can’t applaud violent criminals and then act outraged when concerned Americans express alarm at extreme rhetoric — especially when that rhetoric comes just days after the attempted assassination of a dozen Republican members of Congress. There is of course such a thing as responsible “resistance.” But this tweet? It’s reprehensible.

Here’s a list of Putin critics who've ended up dead
Jeremy Wilson

Reuters
The Washington DC medical examiner's office has just confirmed that former Russian press minister Mikhail Lesin died of "blunt force trauma to the head."
Lesin, who founded the English-language television network Russia Today (RT) was found dead in a Washington, DC, hotel room in November 2015.
The Daily Beast reports that before his death, Lesin was considering making a deal with the FBI to protect himself from corruption charges.
For years, Lesin had been at the heart of political life in Russia and would have known a lot about the inner workings of the rich and powerful.
Lesin isn't the only person linked to Putin's government that has died in violent or mysterious circumstances. Here are some of the other people Putin - a former lieutenant colonel of the KGB, and ex-head of the FSB - is suspected of assassinating:
