I was there with my wife, but had the good fortune to leave at about 12:10 instead of around 12:50, when the crash took place. Definitely rattled me a little bit, as we usually leave at the encore break (like I had at the show the night before, which I attended with my daughter), which I think would have had us outside just about when the crash took place.
Friends at the show had to "shelter in place" for about an hour after the show.
If you've never been to the venue, the main entrance/lobby is right off the street and had this happened just a few minutes later, when most of the crowd would have been exiting the venue, an already horrible situation would have been even more catastrophic.
I didn't sleep well last night, just ruminating on what happened and also the "what ifs."
>>> just when you thought a moe. concert couldn't possibly get any worse.
Ha!
Honestly I saw them last year for the first time in years and had a blast. Small venue, place was 3/4 filled with a mature audience, and it was worth the cheap price. I'd go again.
What a shitty thing to do. If you are going to off yourself, jump off a bridge and feed the fish. No need to burn other people alive in the process.
As for moe., vibes to them and their fans. Must have been terrifying. First time I saw them was late night at NWSS. Thought they were great. Saw them again a year later as headliners and thought it was a musical wank fest from start to finish (with good lights). Never had any desire to see them again.

Terrible no matter... I see shows at that venue all the time. That road is chaotic to begin with, even without a suicide bomber.
