Meet-up at the Movies

Forums:

Bruce looked like SpongeBob smiling at Jerry.

lol,,yea, it was funny to see him. He looked kind of clueless a lot of the time.

It was kind of cool to see the boys on the stage, and watch the show almost from their perspective-very little crowd shots.  The camera work was great. Bobby seemed to ham it up a bit.

I went to the screening in Times Square. Place was packed. Much better footage and sound quality, IMHO, then the last meetup I saw, think it was the Alpine 89, downhill from here.

We waited in a sold out theater till almost 8:pm wondering when is this film going to start.  Then the manager comes to the front row of the theater and says “ can I have your attention please , does anyone have any guns? Any knives?”

audience: “no”, “no”

manager: “Ok , don’t kill the messenger.  They canceled the film order and never told us”

I went last night, that was fun to see in the theater. The sound was great, the video was like a vhs tape, but oh well, it was still the Good Ole Grateful Dead. I had almost forgot about Bruce playing his squeeze box. Big smiles all night. The theater I saw it at serves food and adult beverages, that made it even better.  Only about 40 people in the room. That was the first time I have been able to attend.

The crowd at our theater got continuously more rowdy as the show went on, good times had by all.

Can't wait until next year.

Snuck in a gallon of boomer t

empty within 10 mins.

by second set 80% of theater dancing

Mickey was fun to watch

lots of high fives from patrons

Thats how we roll!

>>Mickey was fun to watch

He was groovin' during drums.

Bruce Hornsby was getting some serious grins from Jerry. Sound was great and surprisingly a big turnout.

I want to hang with Tim sometime. Just beer and some discreet vaping in the local theater.

Its been raining for a week here

More boomers growing that 10 humans can even think about collecting

Gort juice!!!

My theater was pretty lame. I was having the most fun and got asked to quiet down by an attendee. "Let's do it!" Was my half assed response.

Did anyone see the size of hornsby s pupils????

Half empty - half full theatre....we had a blast....the mix was great, and loud...phil bombs, and mickey bashing....the good ole days fo sure....(for those two at least)

Bruce was rockin' the Leon Russell shirt.

I was somewhat disappointed they missed some prime piano fills with the camera work.

Also, the volume was way too low during Eyes prompting a stroll to the desk to request them to turn it UP. They did! smiley

Was I the only one who wished Vince could have been digitally eliminated

Inept directors.  Still out there in force based on some of the streams I've seen.
