jlp review thread:

went and met up with THE BOYS !!!!!!!! it was extra special also to have Alex join me, RARE on a summer worknight ~ being with him ( <3 decade anny imminent <3) is always more fun no matter what we do. when it's music it is THE BEST.

the place we went was about 45 minutes from home, with about <35ish folks there, there were a couple of moderately noodley seat dancers which was cool, yet, an otherwise fully seatmeat crowd lol, despite my best efforts to be inspirational in my dance, which ended up being basically under the screen, as, the biggest flaw of the theater was the lack of good sound system/speakers throughout.

Phil, of course, so handsome in his black hoodie. it was a little disappointing that it was apparently a chilly night, as I was hoping for a Bobby pink polo>short shorts getup. omg and who can tell me what is on Vince's shirt??? I thought: cowboys/robots/hello kitty, and never came to a solid conclusion lol.

ANNNND Jerry in BLUE !!!!! His yuge grins were so satisfying, and his (((((backturnedJam))))) was a major highlight

this show was one i was not at in person, and having Bruce made it extra desirable to me to see

and was he dosed to the gills or what?!?!? i was cracking up at his eyes all night

this show was soooooo fun! especially for the times, zero.zero cowboy tunes, double dillon, soulful Jer, *and* Phil singing !!!

to me, my mindset was that we were going to a show!!! so i wore a skirt owned since those days, and danced my phat ass OFF! my shoulders have been sore all day in the best way (:

made a friendy: cool taurus chick who is also an anti choice jesus freak so, yea. lol yikes but she has jerry in her soul lolololol

def worth the trip, and i so highly recommend for anyone on the fence to hit the saturnday show, which, by the by, seems to have a matinee option in many places, so, if you' ve got a rainy day, what a better place to spend it !!

My take was more deer-in-the-headlights than dosed, but watching Bruce's hands was fascinating.

We only had about 15-20 folks at the show I attended in Bakersfield, and it was about a 95% meat-in-the seat crowd. My friend Laurie aisle danced, and I stood and swayed for a while (my rheumatoid arthritis has taken up residency in my feet this summer). A good time was had though, even though I couldn't find myself in the Soldier Field crowd.
