checked on it an hour later the dog was gone. They found her the next morning huddled in a ditch. Poor girl was lucky

to survive that ice storm. Heartbreaking really. Always watch your pup when they are outside in bad weather.

JohnnyD, you are relatively new to zoning, so you may not have heard about (or had) the interactions (on the board and in 3D) other zoners have had with Zippy. 

A lot of the shit Zippy gets if because of how he treated people who, out of the kindness of their hearts, bailed his ass out of one down and out situation after another (stranded, hungry, shoeless, homeless, bail moneyless, etc). 

I know some of these zoners personally and have seen Zippy "repay" them with harshness and derision... he [proudly] called himself a wook and those who helped him were his custies, and after he got what he needed, he would distance himself both physically and psychologically/emotionally... he burned many bridges and earned the reputation he had for being a con artist who admittedly used these websites to fund his wookie lifestyle.

Hopefully that behavior is in the past and he will continue to get his life together, but IMO, part of getting his life together would include at least making an attempt to find, apologize to, and repay those who helped him all those times he was down and out.

For the record, I am not one of those people... I had a couple of OK 3D interactions with Zippy (over a decade ago), but after seeing the pattern of begging/abusing his benefactors, I never kicked down so he could get down.
