Dear Zoners,

Welcome to Viva la Zone.org. We are excited to be here as a continuation of the Philzone and also as a new world in the same universe. We are still working on creating a few features that will make it even better here; those will appear in the coming days.

Please take the time to read the rules, which are almost identical to the Philzone rules. The basic construct here is respect, civility and keeping it kind. Make it easy for new people to join us without hazing. Keep it kind. We’re looking forward to having a community that women want to be part of, without harassment, and where people can come to have fun, share music, exchange information, be first with the news, provide support, and continue the spirit of the Philzone community. Viva Phil!

For those of you who were asking to have things spelled out in advance, there will be active moderation. There are moderators who are Zoners who will let me - judit(adminj) - know if they see something noteworthy and I will take a look to see what’s going on. I expect there’s going to be some settling in and settling down for the first little while and that we’ll figure out what works for all of us. Lava and HeyDavey will have a voice as they feel moved.

Most people and most threads are just fine the way they’ve always been.

Don’t shit where you live. If you really blow it, the process is: first step, an email, second step a month time-out, and third, you’re out.

Please use the Contact page, link on the left, to get in touch with Admins. Use this contact form if you have an issue with the site itself, or if you have a problem with another Zoner. It should make it a smooth and efficient process.  We will respond.

We have a Formatting page, link on the left, filled with guides, how-tos, and tips to help you with the new features on this site (like the new editor!). We also have threads in the Techie Talk folder for reference, and for testing the new features. 

We will have a .com home page in the future a lot like the Philzone.com page, but it will take time to build that, time we are devoting to getting the .org message board up and running.
