I am already holding Molly Tuttle/Old Crow Medicine Show tix, I highly recommend catching that one for $25. I paid more than that last month. d'oh
If you dig a songwriter in the Nick Drake tradition, go check out Jose Gonzalez. Highly recommended. I'd prefer it at a vineyard setting to the overly loud and grating blistering blues attack of Buddy Guy. I walked out of his festival closing set at the Blues Tent at NOLA Jazzfest as it was crushing my buzz.
I hear ya. anyway, the $25 tickets are still available in the GA section, which isn't bad at all, and if the show hasn't sold many ticket, see one of the ushers by the back entrance and they usually have free upgrade tickets to share. Just looks better to fill in the lower seats.
Also, a friend reminded me that a great way to pick up cheap tix to the Mountain Winery is last minute on TickPick app. So many sesaon ticket holders trying to unload tickets to shows there, but ya gotta wait till the day before the show to find the bargains.
