Yearly mullet run going on and again I will be on the sidelines looking out, Took a healthy dose of jello and went sea side yesterday to catch some well needed vitamin D and see if I can see some fish.
Fuck, mullet schools as far as the eyes can see on the beach in Hobe Sound. School after school just swimmin by. About 6 or 7 dudes wre runnin and casting into the shcools and scoring. Barracudas seem to be the beast for a while, one was a solid 6 footer.
If you ever have the opportunity to fish the east coast mullet run I would highly recommend giving it a whirl. Non stop action. Early Sept. in Jacksonville to early Nov to Miami

Followed some birds to a nice
Followed some birds to a nice school of Jacks tearing up the bait fish on Saturday. Had a fun half an hour of reeling in one after the other.
Next day I took a Fly Rod to my Son in Laws so he can keep it on his boat for the next time we hit a school like that.
