salt and vinegar are my favorite.

Chili Crisp/Chili Crisps

Halfway through the second of two jars my son and his GF sent around Xmas.   GF's friend "sells it on Instagram".

Ball jars.  One had a homemade label.  I understand she's got stickers with ingredients, etc. now. I don't care.  I'd meet someone in a parking lot to buy this shitcheeky

I looked it up.  Recipes vary.  This one is oil/shallots/garlic/chiles/almonds, if I recall right. A bunch of recipes use star anise, but I don't taste it in this.

Zingy/crunchy/borderline hallucinatory spiciness. A teaspoon in [whatever] turns it amazing.

m&m's
salt and vinegar are tasty but I usually go with jalapeño chips

jalapeño chips<<

My go-to.  I'll only buy one bag per month.  And do my best to eat it in 2-3 sittings instead of one.

But they're like crack.

We call Cabot Salsa Grande dip "crack dip."

Munchies are usually something sweet, or toast with butter.

I'm not sure if they're national, but around here we can get these things called Bisou Sweet donut muffins. The blueberry ones are in the top 5 sweets ever made.

brought home a bag of peanut butter chips this day

maybe 2

Been eating pretty clean all Winter,  mostly Venison from here.

For Junk - food though, it's Swiss or Belgian chocolate, Dark strains.

The Girl Scouts had a cookie table set up in front of the local market yesterday. They were out of Thin Mints and Samosas, so I got Peanut Butter Patties and Lemonades. The Lemonades were new to me; they're shortbread with lemon icing on one side. I ate the entire box of those last night.

It's candy for me. I've tried to be good, candy is so bad for me, but I'm an addict and the shelter in place has enabled/fed my weakness.

These are what I can't resist these days (DAMN YOU AMAZON!!!) especially out of the freezer...

Organic Fritos and peanut butter.

Freeze dried organic pineapple. Yummy.

I destroyed a rather large bag of kettle corn yesterday (crunch, sugar, and salt).

I've noticed over the years that if i stick with strains that are mostly sativa, I snack healthy. If it's mostly indica, it's mostly Little Debbie :-(

^Gibbles yum

Herr's Russet Potato Chips!

Used to like Barbara's jalapeno cheese curls but I think they changed the recipe when they got big

fresh Cracklin's if you can get 'em

boiled peanuts

Buffalo style Pretzel Thins dipped in sour cream. Yummm

Toasted slice of pound cake with a lil oleo......yum

Coincidentally, I just listened to Van Halen F.U.C.K. this morning.
Listened to OU812 yesterday.
Wish I had tried pork rinds earlier. They are a tasty snack.

Now listen to Wolfies new song.  The kid is coming into his own.

Not a big fan of salty snacks. When I go to the food store I often pick up one (or two!) of their choc. dipped cake donuts.

Yum!

Two words - Air fryer

I had an air fryer, and I don't think I'd want to eat it for a snack.

OMG

hubby's homemade chickpea cauliflower pakora

my new addiction

I'm trying to eat healthy so I can live longer and continue to eat bad things.  Oh such a dilemma.  Nuts are my go to.  Cashew is my friend.  Ben and Jerry's, more like an acquaintance.  But I'll eat almost anything.  This year I was introduced to freeze dried (fried?) seasoned shiitake mushrooms by Snackyard. Umami Mia! So crispy.  They also make for an emergency ingredient if I need a few in a dish. Rehydrated, sliced: hello soup.
