Your turn.

I like all those mid-70s records produced by Andrew Gold and Kenny Edwards - they usually played on them, too  Believe they were on the Ronstadt mentioned above. I like a lot of that other early tp mid 70s stuff - first Dan Fogleburg, Slippin' Away by Chris Hillman, Wendy Waldman, the Fleetwood Mac of that time period - all those clean but multi-textured albums of that era.

I love these threads.

A novelty rock band from Ohio best known for their hit "Snoopy vs. The Red Baron", the Royal Guardsmen released this little nugget on the flip side of their 1967 single "The Airplane Song".  After dismissing them as a gimmick band for years, my mind was blown a couple of weeks ago when I heard this:

Peter Sarstedt "Where Do You Go To My Lovely"

Supposedly written for/about Sophia Loren.  You may remember it as the mush used over the end credits in Wes Anderson's "Darjeeling  Limited".

pink houses - the coug.

I must admit that while I was shaving this morning, "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus was playing in my head and I started getting a bit emotional.

(I'll just go back into hiding after that post).....

i don't feel guilty because my tastes are impeccable.

No need to feel guilty about that Bangles album, Dave.  I was spinning that same one last week.  Solid pop-rock album.

Heard this song in Target the other day. Thought it was the Talking Heads. Listened to it a handful of times since. Loud!

Jerry's middle finger finds a nostril.

Hall and Oates?

Some Burt Bacharach(sp?) and Hal David collaberations at times.

Dolly Parton (soundtrack to the movie Dumplin')

Seals and Crofts - Summer Breeze...

The Best of Bread - great record for date night in the late 70's/early 80's

I prefer the Isley Brothers' version of "Summer Breeze".  Ernie Isley's guitar shreds the original.

kids place live (absolutely mindy, to be specific)

also, Cardi B, as she applies to Bernie

Early BeeGees....pre disco, pre 1970 albums...

Ha.  I might have to work up Smoke Of A Distant Fire for the next Saturday Night Jelly ("What we do isn't solid enough to be called "jam" -- Mick Heath).

Need those palate cleansers to offset the Simple Twist Of Fates and Everybody Knowses and such.
