I saw him about 15 years ago, and it wasn't good. His set was brief, phoned in, and not particularly interesting.
I've also heard people talking about seeing great shows. Hope you guys get one tomorrow.

He was great on that double bill with Steely Dan a few years ago. But it was a greatest hits, rock -n-roll deal.
I was hoping he might borrow some SD horns and do some Spike-era stuff . . .

Saw him sit in with furthur at radio city. They let him sing for most of the set as I remember.
He is good.

I've seen him a few times, I've never been much of a fan of his shows.
If you like his songs you'll probably like his show, most of his fans do, but there's just something not quite "there" for me when I've seen him.
Hope you find the "there" when you see him.

Was a big fan of his early work like Imperial Bedroom. Saw him live and left with a headache. Saw him again and was unimpressed. Last time was late 80s so can't advise on current offering.

But oh to go check out Elvis in the late 70's when they totally shredded.
I missed that EC era but saw Talking Heads 1978 Trenton War Memorial.
Blazing show.
