Might as well mention 'Star Trek Continues' (2013-2017); a non-profit, fan funded series that was allowed to use trademark by the studio - basically looks and sounds the same as the original series but with different actors, including James Doohan's son as Scotty. They complete the '5 year mission' in two seasons. Actors from various ST series appear in cameos.
