I am amazed that SUNY New Paltz the SUNY stoner school is now a University. New Paltz alumni hold your heads high. Glad I went when it was a safety school at the lower end of the spectrum.

We crashed @ SUNY NewPaltz on our way to the '79 Utica GD show which we missed due to the weather ( think the Thruway was closed?)
Stony Brook became a top notch Medical School after the Health Science complex was finished in the late '70s....

All I can say is thank you Dr. Alice Chandler for helping to make my BA, a degree from a respected institution of higher learning. My first two years under Dr. Stanley Coffman was Animal House on steroids. My last two were tame in comparison.
