Last time I saw so some much weed in one place, the Grateful Dead were onstage (probably a slight exaggeration, figuring even at old top shelf prices of 5K / lb, that's still 100,000 lbs  -- a lot to smoke during one show).

Lost Lake last weekend:

Lost Lake.jpg

It was the last weekend the campground was open for the season and the general store was liquidating its beer:

Lost Lake Beer.jpg

Even with their normal "captive audience" prices, the beer was cheaper than in town so brought some back.

Puerto Rican Buffet in da Bronx today ~

PR Foods in da Bronx.jpg

That looks like Golden Corral.

It's scary Halloween looking.  There was probably a Goat's Head in there before I arrived.

The top left is the Pernil (Roasted Pork) got it for dinner later with Yellow Rice and Godulas. The lady fried me up a Pastalito while I was making sure the rims on my car weren't being jacked.

Great Zoner photos, as usual. Another shot from a recent trip to the zoo....two-headed ostrich:

< diggin' the anemones!

yeah, I don't do puzzles often, but I think those anemone photos would make for a great 1000-piece jigsaw.

Those guys will clear out in a month.

High Astro.  That pic is a few yrs old. From an early West Coast Zoner Jam.The woman passed away a couple yrs ago. Many here knew her.

Good job Sculptor!

Those Sea anemone are awesome!

Hope you had a superb trip, Voodoo. Was great to see you!

Zooey.  WHY????????

Not sure I believe that Debby Harry photo. Wow!

IMG_4466.JPG

I'll believe the Harry shot is real, but I'm praying that "knitwear" one is fake.

>>>Not sure I believe that Debby Harry photo. Wow!

You are not alone..

For those in disbelief on how good Debbie Harry looks, that photograph has no retouching done to it. Just my normal processing. I could post 10 more in which she looks more or less the same. Has she had some work done? Possibly. Still she has the basic genetics to look great.

No offense meant Sadler. Great photo.

I agree it's a solid shot.

DH looks so much better than other shots I've seen the last 3 years but if you took it you would know.. I want some of that cool aide!

Yesterday as the sun was setting at Sayville Beach ~

Sayville Beach facing west 11 3 2018.jpg

Sayville Beach Sunset 4 46pm 11 3 2018.jpg

Going back there now

Peace be with you All ~

Ever see the "green flash" at sunset, a frequency mirage of the sun?  Think I've seen it around 30 times now on the Oregon coast, love atmospheric optics!

My buddy Paul caught it with his fancy/schnazzy camera (my little Cannon doesn't have a chance, lol)

DSC_0085 copy.jpg

No sir, but it may have had been a catalyst to the downing of flight 800 here on long island.

Thanks for the Oregon aqua shots.

Last night I was wide awake at 3 15 am and the little dipper was out in full amazement

Closed my window for a moment and massively shooting star in comet like dimensions shot from the south eastern sky to western.

To the top left of the little dipper was a stagnant red planet, to the bottom right was a bright white large planet as well.

Google beat me to the names, I am in a van down by the river..

No drubs, we are supposed to be using filters ar sunset, most of my shots all have that mini green planet.  Took a while to find any whiteout that digital artefact.

Ski?

My shots here have them too.

It had crossed my minds that extraterrestrials live among us and are visiting us this year.

2 things, they move at different speeds and the human eyes can not detect them

Second, they are camouflaged as public  telephone booths, taxi cab drivers, and these green balls in our photographs at sunset?

Speaking of green balls

Are you still in Yachats, Noods? I found a PRIMO massive carnelian on a rocky beach just south of there. Keep your head down and eyes peeled for sparklers!

I wish, was a beautiful afternoon.  Found some nice agates near 10 mile creek before south of Yachats (gold too!), but my best beach agate find was around 7 years ago during spring break; a teacher friend from NY was out for a week, and a storm came along and exposed a hundred foot section of gravels, including large fist sized agates, just north of Yachats (in front of that old, long rectangle motel, motel 6 looking, only one like it in that area).  Was exposed for about 3 days before the sands covered it back up.  The locals were on it immediately!

 I've got a carnelian / agate spot I like digging down near fall creek reservoir, one of my secret spots;

My Bohemian Breakfast Squirrel friend from today ~

Bohemia brakefest squirel 11 7 2018.jpg

Interesting deadfall trap. Hope you get your squirrel - past breakfast time by now.

Took hours to plan & set that up, Surf.

Ally Venable opened for Mike Zitto October 5th & I  wasn't feeling well, stayed for her set only.

She's from Texas and does a Stevie Ray Vaughn set very well.

She was hot & throwing the kitchen sink at me.

The place was too hot & stuffy & I needed to split..

But I will go out of my way to see her again; that's for sure.

Excellent work there Alan.

Recent trip to the Asian market revealed Dragon Fruit. Can't justify the $ but very cool looking.
