Newly revealed Jan 6 footage surfaces #3

^ thanks, funny.

These guys are hilarious. How is it their videos only get 100 or so views?

I know ... have been following them throughout the entire pandemic and have also been their secret "promoter".  The current one is currently at 200 views, but was only at about 24 earlier today before I posted this link here and elsewhere.  I've kind of gotten "trapped" into it ... they're both seem to be into it and I've made it so they at least get some results for their efforts. I'm convinced the kid likely keeps tabs on the stats and pitches ideas to Pops all the time about how they can make it work.  There's a merch site and they've done raffles.  In the end, I think they both enjoy doing the show and it gives them a chance to hang out together.  So, for all of these reasons and more I'm now duty-bound to continue to try and muster up visitor traffic.  I'm hoping one day things will snowball for them a bit more organically and I wouldn't feel the "pressure" so much.

FOM - Keep up the good work, sir. You could probably be the Bill Graham of junk food reviewers.

Maybe you could put together an acid test for them -- where they are free to roam around a Burger King warehouse for a night, dancin around, sampling anything they like.

I think they're good candidates for an acid test, but don't want to rush them into it.

However, Pops and the kid got his friends together for another sort of "challenge" a couple of months ago:

Yay!  Watching the poors eat garbage for entertainment.  I feel like a Koch.  Or a Mercer.

What makes you think they're poor?

If these guys could team up with the I Can Has Cheezburger cat that would be gold.

Not sure where you're picking up on this?

A lot of people have stated how they simply enjoy seeing a father and son getting along well together.

I'm here for the food reviews

(but technically, I think this is deemed "recreational eating," which is vastly different than "survival eating")

The latest episode is awesome!

They went on the road and wore Restaurant Junkies' merch, but they're both on cloud 9 ... the kid has been accepted to college.   Pops is clearly elated about it, but it seems like there's a bit of a "break" ... in that Pops may not have gone to college himself.   I sense nothing but good vibes, but there's clearly an interesting dynamic on this front.

Reality tv at its finest. Ya know... I am genuinely starting to like these guys. Kid's gonna try college, they are not blowing off masks, the kid self-quarantined when he thought he might have  "Carona," and they seem like nice folks. This is no Honey Boo-Boo. Sure Pops looks like a hermit moonshiner, but always he spouts some pearls of wisdom. "A weatherman can always be wrong and they always have a job." "All companies can make a mistake once a while."

They are so into it they drove an hour and a half just to experience a Beast Style burger. "That's a goooooood burger."  Which is a shame cause it's a pretty regular fast food burger. I'd love to see them challenge their palates a bit. The weird thing is watching them chew. They deserve a cable show.

These guys are great. If they want to get masses of followers, they should do "first listens" of Dead shows while eating their loaded fries. 750,000 Heads will watch every episode, in rapt awe.

They should do a cross-country road trip before Jakey starts college.

The weird thing is watching them chew<<<

I think Pops has dentures or some other extensive dental work, so it's difficult him to chew.

The kid is normally finished way before Pops

I should have written,"I feel weird watching them chew" - I don't mean they chew weird -- but they definitely enjoy their food.  I just don't watch a lot of reality videos, muchless watch people eat -- that's an odd way for me to kill time.

I'm a fan, though. I'm rooting for them to make it big. Considering they live outside Redding CA, I'd love to see an episode where they tackle some East Coast streamed crabs. Or some gluten-free pizza.

Pops dropped a hundred dollars on the hot chip contestants, so I don't get the feeling they are poverty-stricken.

Alan, I thought they might be from Redding, CA too, but when I checked out their Paqui Challenge video, one of the participants was wearing a sweater that had "Kutztown" emblazoned on it. Kutztown is in PA, and Reading, PA is about 30 miles away from it.

Right. They could certainly live in PA or Maryland -- Pops has the Civil War look -- I could picture them at an Orioles game.
