Next Stop Nevada

Forums:

Nevada will be a caucus, so ground game and organization is key.

In the meantime, guess I will have to wait for my $1,000 per month now that Yang is out.   A couple of other people who I didn't realize were still actually running dropped out too, including Bennet and Obama's guy Patrick, who really was too little, too late.

By my assessment, Nevada should be pretty low hanging fruit for Bernie.

If it doesn’t turn out that way, he should probably worry a little.

Nevada will be interesting in the General.  Not a lot of electoral votes, but a swing state.

Outside of your obvious straight-ticket folks, over the last generation Nevada has shifted from solidly red to light purple. This is evidenced by the election of the first Hispanic elected to statewide office (gov Sandoval), the first woman senator (sec of state Cortez-Masto) replacing the decrepit Harry Reid, and the very unpopular (R) Sen. Dean Heller also being replaced by a democrat. The swing votes in Nevada tend to veer from liberal conservative to outright left liberal. Most Nevadans will act and function as Republicans until they are pushed or challenged from the right. As the Hispanic population continues to grow at the fastest rate, among other factors, I predict this will be the dominant voting trend for the next few cycles. Senator warren could have a decent showing here as well if she’s still in it.

my mom wants to vote for bernie but is worried. i told her to do it...

My mom is also worried about Bernie and has grown to love Amy and will vote for her.

Good to see Amy as a viable contender.   Helps split up the centrist vote.

I was worried about Bernie and Warren being the ones to split up the progressive vote, allowing Biden to win primary after primary with a simple plurality.  But now, the tables are turning and its looking like Bernie might be the one to take advantage of party infighting.

Amy could be the top centrist candidate in the end and will win many mid-western votes and carry those states. Bernie has problems with his health policies that take existing coverage away from many who like their current coverage. Witness what the Culinary Workers Union position is in Nevada.

Here's the takeaway I got from that politico article turtle.

Trump can absolutely kill him’: Wall Street shrugs off Sanders

"Most people are fading the possibility that Bernie can win,” said one former top executive at one of the world’s largest banks. “Most of the people that I know, they want to see the country well-run and admired. They don’t want Trump in the White House. But they’d vote for Trump in a second over any of the left-wing candidates because at least he cares about the economy.”

Imagine stepping into the voting booth on November 3, 2020 and pulling the lever to vote for a SEVENTY-NINE YEAR OLD Bernie Sanders for a FOUR YEAR TERM OF SERVICE.

Gimme a break.

>>>>Gimme a break.

give me a break with that bullshit. OH HE MIGHT DIE!!! Trump is 73 and eats fucking McDonald's all day and unfortunately it doesn't look like he's gonna die.

^^^^^

I assume his running mate will be somewhat younger.

LOL - a 79 year old Bernie and 74 year old DJT fighting for the 'soul of America' is the most ridiculous nonsense imaginable.

Two old New Yorkers yelling at each other is really going to juice turnout.

Looks like voters are smart enough to avoid 77 year old Biden at least.

None of this matters - Trump has the electoral college on lock down anyhow.

He'll lose the popular vote by an even larger margin but will squeak an electoral victory or a 269-269 tie - which he'll then win in the House vote following.

Protip:  the most important election of your life was in 2016.  Trump has every advantage given by incumbency, there is no longer a voting rights act protecting voters from disenfranchisement, and Facebook isn't doing squat to stop the flow of disinformation that helped turn so many votes last time.

This country had a nice, short run but forget it, Jake - it's TRUMPTOWN now.

>>>>>https://www.commondreams.org/news/2020/02/11/sanders-crushes-trump-18-po...

>>>>>who do we believe?

LOL  that article doesn't mention the Electoral College anywhere

again:  the democratic candidate will EXPAND Clinton's popular vote advantage and it WILL NOT MATTER as the Electoral College absolutely favors DJT.

If he wins these three states:  Florida, Arizona, and Wisconsin - it's over.

and if you don't think a lawless executive branch can pull out all the voting suppression stops to hold their leads in 3 states let me remind you that 20 years ago a much less conservative supreme court simply STOPPED THE COUNTING OF VOTES in Florida when it became clear they weren't going to get the result they wanted.

i think you need to add in ohio/penn and some other swing-hole states...

look, the voter suppression, irregularities, bots, computerized systems, gerrymandering are all working against us.

Bloomberg should take all that money he is pissing away on campaign ads and instead payoff the fines of felons in Florida to restore their voting rights.

^I like Trevor Noah's idea, instead of spending a billion dollars to defeat Trump, just offer Trump a billion dollars to resign.

>> i think you need to add in ohio/penn and some other swing-hole states...

Ohio is no longer a swing state - it's as red as red can be.

Trump winning PA was a fluke and I'm comfortable putting it back in the blue category.

take a look for yourself: https://www.270towin.com/

find a way for the Dem to win w/o Arizona, Wisconsin, or Florida and don't go telling me that North Carolina is a swing state.

interesting map mr. taquito.

as usual, swing-hole florida is going to be interesting.

also, ironic that the poorest states are republican. like, "hello"!!!

>>Michigan.

A dem will most likely need Michigan and/or Ohio. Pa and or FL. And another swing state possibly.

>>>don't go telling me that North Carolina is a swing state. <<<

NC is a swing state, has been since 2008.

(R) Thom Tillis has a 31% approval and rate is up for re-election.

Meadows is out.

Democrat Gov. Roy Cooper

in 18 we broke the NC house and senate republican super majority.

NC Supreme Court now consists of 5 democrats 2 republicans.

We're more blue than purple.

So swing balls!

>>>>Trump has the electoral college on lock down anyhow.

no one knows shit. if you think you know what's going to happen, you're a fool.

>>>>>or a 269-269 tie - which he'll then win in the House vote following

Are you expecting the Rs to flip the House?

Come on Bucky. Give Terry taquito a break. Hahaha.

Also, fuck you timpane! I saw your comment asshole.

It's a little early to start predicting the score. Especially considering we don't know who is running yet.  At this point Bernie is the favorite, but that is far from assured. Next issue; would a moderate candidate (Pete, Amy, Joe B [remember him?] or Mike) be in a better position to  win (the electoral college) then a left leaning candidate (most likely Bernie, though Elizabeth may not be completely out of it yet)?  People here have already discussed this, however it may become a paramount issue. Is it more important to win the election, or is it only important if one is in complete agreement with their candidates approach. Especially when it comes to healthcare. IMHO there is a long way to go before the democratic candidate is chosen. Unfortunately we know who the opposition candidate will be.

>>>>Come on Bucky. Give Terry taquito a break. Hahaha.

ok I will. taquitos are alright I guess

In other news, Bernie Bros "attacked" the Nevada culinary union today after the union said some things about his health care policy.
The Bernie fans seriously need to calm the fuck down with attacking all of their perceived enemies who aren't the GOP. And "they hit us first" isn't a good excuse. Not everyone is going to love Bernie.

https://thenevadaindependent.com/article/culinary-union-condemns-vicious...

White suburban mom's aren't going to be down with this Bernie bros bullshit. I wonder what p heat and Timpane are doing to welcome them to the fold?

Bros across the nation volunteering to coach youth soccer this fall

{{{{{ winning hearts and minds }}}}}

Sup JR? Feeling better?

Biden was already in Nevada.

Biden is pathetic. Even centrists like myself can admit it.

Please don't address me Timpane. Thanks

50% of voters are going to the polls without a clear choice. Bernie's campaign realizes this and he's trying to reach out  and bring them in the fold. That's what part of his speech last night was. At the same time, a small but virulent faction of his fans are alienating that 50%. It makes no sense because they will need a bunch of those undecideds for Bernie to have a chance.

Way to throw the baby out with the bath water.

>>>>or a 269-269 tie - which he'll then win in the House vote following

>>Are you expecting the Rs to flip the House?

Absolutely NOT!

However, a vote in the House to decide an electoral college tie would re-elect Trump because:

Who would win the presidency in a tie?

Each state's Congressional House delegation would have one vote, regardless of how many Districts are in the state. The GOP held a decided 32-17 edge in control of these state congressional delegations prior to the 2018 midterms. With the start of the 116th congress, that partisan split is much more even. Republicans now control 26 states, Democrats 22. Michigan and Pennsylvania are tied.

So to recap: 269-269 tie would be resolved in a Trump re-election by

26 States voting Trump

22 States voting Dem

2 States tied/no vote

so no volunteer youth soccer coaching?

it aint gonna matter if the african american voters start to truly hear Sanders message/agenda and swing his way

that bloc is way more important to winning in Nov then turning off white folks with crude messengers

Please don't address me>>>

No problem, JR. Maybe stop acting like a little bitch all the time and things won't be so dull between us

bernie has the most diverse coalition organized across the country.

he will get people to vote.

he will win swings states a centrist will never win against trump, like michigan wisconsin and pa. texas and fl toss ups. no centrist gets those. these are facts. we saw it in 2016 w/ hrc.

amy and peter won't get the black vote, hispanic vote, which is needed to defeat trump, bernie does.

over 7mil individual donations.

dude raised 25mil in january.

won the first two primaries.

if this was literally any other candidate running, you centrist fucks and the corporate media would be calling on all other candidates to drop out and endorse these facts, this candidate.

but it's bernie.

he will be the nominee and he gives us the best shot at taking down the monster.

if all you have is hes 79 and wants to give everybody healthcare, i'm sorry, you'll be falling in line sooner than later -- or you are satisfied w/ trump.

You’re an idiot.

racket, coming from you, that's ok.

post a trump meme, bitch.

> if this was literally any other candidate running, you centrist fucks and the corporate media would be calling on all other candidates to drop out and endorse these facts, this candidate.

Is this the way Bernie bots plan to unify the Democratic Party?

Just 'cause it's said don't mean that its true.

Bloomberg is a racist.

I have never supported trump, but I don’t support taxing the middle class into poverty.  If youre over 30 and you support socialism you really have no fucking clue.  Maybe if you put as much effort into bettering your life as you do on the zone, crying, you wouldn’t be begging for free shit.  Who’s the real bitch here?

Man up sweetheart.  Own your life don’t depend on the government.

White suburban women will stay home this election year. The crazy socialist and crazy Trump are just too exhausting for them. They also want to keep their husband's healthcare and don't care about the math thats shows they will be paying less in taxes than premiums.  Big change of any kind is too overwhelming.

Looks like slackers old lady already found her out.

Ogkb, you are unable to maintain any form of objectivity. No, the media wouldn't be calling for Biden to drop out yet, especially when he's polling double digits ahead of Bernie in SC. Nor would they be calling for Klobuchar to drop out.

If the MSM was giving Bernie the shaft in the past, they aren't anymore. They are giving him plenty of positive air time on the networks, which is what most Americans watch.

Objectivity...

>If this was literally any other candidate running, you centrist fucks and the corporate media would be calling on all other candidates to drop out and endorse these facts, this candidate<

Just a ridiculous and idiotic statement. Why would anyone call on Buttigieg to drop out when he has more delegates than Sanders?

>centrist will never win against trump, like michigan wisconsin and pa. texas and fl toss ups. no centrist gets those. these are facts.<

No, these are not facts, merely your extremely biased opinion.

Texas is not a toss up.

IMO, Sanders has little chance of winning the suburbs outside of philly,  which he needs to win Pennsylvania. Plus, given the Cuban expats, old white folks, and Florida Man, Sanders has no chance of winning Florida.

>>he will win swings states a centrist will never win against trump, like michigan wisconsin and pa. texas and fl toss ups. no centrist gets those. these are facts. we saw it in 2016 w/ hrc.<<

There is no way Bernie is winning Florida.

>>> There is no way Bernie is winning Florida. <<<

There is no way bernie is winning SC or NC

Let's not overlook the obvious. This little dbmb is populated by mostly white, college educated, liberal druggies, what one would think would be Bernie's core. He doesn't even enjoy broad support here. There's no way it's a slam dunk for him, and some of the Bernie supporters would do well to embrace rather than to hate.

^ ut oh, get ready for an expletive filled pyramid rant

nah, he'll laugh it off like you're overreacting.

then, bernie stump 101 again.

classic P-nutz

keep melting, centrists.

thod voted for bernie in 2016 b/c it was cool.

It's too early for anyone to be melting. Can we make a pact to wait until after Super Tuesday, and then either the Bernie's or centrists can go full-on China Syndrome?

>>> thod voted for bernie in 2016 b/c it was cool. <<<

you voted for Hillary

fuckin' carpetbagger.

So what? I think she's sexy so I voted for her. Sue me.

You did the right thing bk

thod melting. what's w/ the names buddy?

>you voted for Hillary<

TOD,  Pyramid has stated that he wrote in Sanders in 2016, in  Pennsylvania.

So P-nutz gave us trump, thanks man.

You ate that propaganda up...

Packed up your shit out of shame and moved to VT.

Guess you're gonna hold the country back again. smh

I'm a realist who will gladly vote for anyone other than Trump.  I just don't think Bernie can save the U.S. and p-heat you live in VT, correct?  One of the most liberal states in the country.  The last few years I've lived in Chicago, Florida, and the Chicago suburbs and people aren't exactly on the Bernie express train.

Btw, I'd love to see a head-to-head matchup between p-heat and Mike W!

Words overused in these threads - centrist + melting

The dictionary is full of words, lots of words, different words, big words. Don't be afraid to look em up and try a few out now n again brother pyramid.

>Btw, I'd love to see a head-to-head matchup between p-heat and Mike W<

Pyramid would be quickly vanquished by Mike W.

Mike W might also twist'n frugg in an arrogant gesture

Be a great swordfight, but they’d both lose.

^^

where's the big turnout for the Bern?

>>> Pyramid has stated that he wrote in Sanders in 2016, in  Pennsylvania.

That makes sense.

Actually, Bernie's win in NH is pretty impressive. In 2018 they changed voter laws, so that college students need a NH license to register. Before that, any college student or part time resident could register. It disqualified thousands of his core base from voting.

It wasn't, if he got more delegates maybe.

bernie should be happy with a delegate "tie" but he's not.

He claims he won. lol.

Super Tuesday 34% of the population votes, let's talk about wins after that.

so "delegates" choose to ignore the popular vote. that's terrific. is that how it works or some counties have more? i don't get it.

tod, give it a rest man or get a pundit job with wolf blitzer for fucks sake.

Why so we can listen to you whine incessantly, not a chance pal.

Everybody has to play the delegate game, you can't change it up mid stream.

Google, how the delegate thing works...

Otherwise all you want to do is whine about the "process".

Certainly doesn't show confidence in your candidate bro.

all you do is whine about bernie.

>you can't change it up mid stream.<

like the dnc did for bloomberg?

you're way more obnoxious than thom.

You're ignorant as fuck, but carry on.

>>>>>Mike W might also twist'n frugg in an arrogant gesture

All while wearing a divine dress!

maybe i'm ignorant to the un-democractic processes within the democratic party, but at least i'm not a tool of said party.

carry on todtool.

turtle, you equated what I said about delegates and how you can't change mid-stream because that's the game EVERY candidate has to play to, to how the dnc changed the debate format.

My god dude.

That's 2+2 = 5 shit right there.

>>That's 2+2 = 5 shit right there.

Which is a Radiohead song.  RESPECT!

i just came in to say thod went full 5.0.

excellent.

also i always loved mike w. never met em tho.

yo mike, let me make you some pizza.

thod just hates bernie b/c he thinks it's not cool any longer to like the guy.

just all around sloppy mess, like canned chili.

has no idea who to vote for haha. freaking out. trump.

bro, if your pizza is as good as your attempt at projection (which sucks)

time to find a new hustle.

sorry i don't understand tooltalk.

it's ok bro, I've never figured you for being very smart, for obvious reasons.

No hate, please carry on.

Thod, just take a break man. It's like an unlimited amount of dumb coming from you every day.

>> Centrist Centrist Centrist vs Marsha Marsha Marsha    discuss....

The character Jan was complaining Marsha, her sister, was getting all the attention at a party and got so upset that she whined “marsha, marsha, marsha!” Primary definition: a whiny dramatic response by someone who is jealous of another person. the name Marsha could be changed with the name of any person you're mad at.

How this contributes to a Bernie bot discussion is open for conjecture.  As for how centrists view Marsha, uh it's been a while since I've watched the Brady Bunch but I don't remember politics being a major theme.  YMMV

Oops. Duplicate post. My bad. After Zone posting 4 many years one has a right 2 wonder how mistakes like this can happen.

tod calling me not smart is rich.

not like bloombeg rich, the other kind.

really turtle?

How do delegates in the dem primary work?

btw, I'm far from your bloomberg comparisons rich, but so are you (winky face)

Thod and Racket like Slightly Stoopid.

>How do delegates in the dem primary work?<

apparently by something other than a democratic process....

what's google's website again?

You're so likable...

bless your heart.

_____....

For what its worth, new polling shows Bernie leading in Texas.   In Florida, Bloomberg is leading.    If Bloomberg, Biden, Pete, and Amy split up the moderate vote, that clears the path for a Sanders nomination.   That is how Trump did it.   The never-Trumpers couldn't rally around one person, thereby diluting the vote and allowing Trump to win primary after primary until it was too late to stop him.

^But Texas will not be in play in the general election.

>>>>Texas will not be in play in the general election.

Get all those Tejanos mobilized and you might be surprised.  That white boy Beto certainly gave ole Ted Cruz a run for the money not too long ago and the state is only getting browner.

My son who is studying at GW Law in DC just turned down a $1,500 per week part time job for Bloomberg and is instead canvassing for Bernie for free.  He is half Latino and speaks pretty good Spanish so he will be working the zip codes with big Latino populations.

Saw this today on an abandoned building:

17,000 people turned out for a Bernie rally in Tacoma.  No other Democratic candidate is generating this level of genuine on the ground enthusiasm.

https://katu.com/news/politics/bernie-sanders-holding-rally-in-tacoma-fo...

Trump draws similar crowds.  Fight fire with fire.

^exactly. you wanna best trump? bernie is the only one that has a chance.

look at this -- no other dem is/can do this. not even close.

Pyramid, how is Sanders polling with the 45 and over crowd?

The under 45's talk a good game, but historically don't vote.

I'm looking at these polls as progressive vs moderate. The math is clear.

Bloomberg trying to follow his own playbook. Buy an election. Just like he did in NYC. Three term mayor!

45+>>>

According to you guys.... since the younger population doesn't historically vote and Bernie is ahead 12% on a national scale then he must be doing pretty well with +45 voters. Most notables are 65+ who are getting Medicaid and social security cuts.

will the people that push their way past me at shows and video please do the right thing?

>>>>>since the younger population doesn't historically vote and Bernie is ahead 12% on a national scale then he must be doing pretty well with +45 voters.

Maybe not. Folks may give their preferences on the phone or on line, but they still may not vote.

>>> since the younger population doesn't historically vote

>>> then he must be doing pretty well with +45 voters.

https://poll.qu.edu/national/release-detail?ReleaseID=3655

Biden     6%  13%  18% 27%

Sanders 54% 30% 11% 8%

Bloomberg   5% 13% 18% 22%

warren must drop out and endorse bernie.

that is, if she has a spine and actually stands behind what she says she does.

at this point, highly doubtful.

bernie continuing to win the primary races will bump up the 45+.

once people realize that bloomberg is for cutting medicare and SS, like they did w/ biden, those numbers will sink.

Voting is a lot easier than going through on of those phone polls. It's quicker too.

Don't count on the utes....oy

^ Last election gen x and y voters out voted boomers. Your stereotypes are fading.

For all the panic among the Democrat party elite about Sanders, regular Democrats seem to like the guy fine and he may actually be the least polarizing of the bunch:

*For those who like charts and stuff.

Another chart and a table too...through 2018 (the most recent election.)

lx0.jpg

xb0.jpg

In my opinion, the most important takeaway isn’t on RRG’s chart. It’s how dramatically those numbers changed (they rose significantly) among the two youngest voter subsets. Voter turnout in the age 18-29 category shot up 15.7% in 2018, and age 30-44 rose by 13.2% between the most recent midterms. Comparatively, they increased by 10%, and 6.7%, for groups aged 45-64 and 65+. This means the rate of younger voters turning out grew by almost twice that of the boomers.

https://www.census.gov/library/stories/2019/04/behind-2018-united-states...

At at this point bernie is leading the polls in just about every state. More importantly, he’s polling above 15% in near every state - which means mathematically, he is on track to lock in delegates in almost every state. That is something that no other candidate even comes close to at this point.

Some rumblings that Bloomberg may pick HRC as an early VP pick to campaign with.  God damn, how magical would that be? Talk about redemption.

guys, what's going on tonight?

Does Emerson poll registered voters or likely voters?

Nbc/Wall Street journal poll still has all the candidates beating Trump, and Biden doing the best against Trump in battleground states. However, they surveyed registered voters.

Sanders is clearly leading that poll.

Hmm.

Pretty certain that 29 is greater than 22.

yeah, but the MSDNC is reporting this.

Bernie not releasing his medical records is kinda Trumpy.

Bloomberg let everyone know that he got his heart problem looked at 25 years before his racism and sexism problem.

i don't either. her campaign is almost as bad as bloomberg's.

she's shown her true colors.

she's too angry, right? lol

she is? is that was the corporate media is saying?

i don't think so.

she's just a terrible candidate for president. zero authenticity.

wow.

how much will bernie win nevada by, thod?

maybe he can get the popular vote again? lol

Reminder:  Trump has such an advantage in the Electoral College that he only needs to carry 3 swing states:  Arizona, Wisconsin, and Florida to ensure his "re-election" (PLEASE NOTE: he's very much going to lose the popular vote by multiple millions of votes again)

Don't believe me?  Go to 270 to Win website and try to create an electoral scenario in which a DEM wins the electoral college without AZ, Wisc, or FLA.

Among registered voters in Wisconsin, President Trump leads the Democratic candidates by between 7 and 11 percentage points in head to head election matchups:

Trump tops Senator Amy Klobuchar 50 - 39 percent;

Trump leads Senator Elizabeth Warren 51 - 41 percent;

Trump beats former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg 49 - 41 percent;

Trump tops former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg 49 - 41 percent;

Trump defeats Senator Bernie Sanders 50 - 43 percent;

Trump is ahead of former Vice President Joe Biden 49 - 42 percent.

Trump will be "re-elected" and the minority-rule of the United States will continue apace. (do recall that the 47 Senators who voted to convict represent 18 million MORE people than the 53 who voted to acquit)

Nice country we had for a while there.  Last one out hit the lights.

^^^^

And that polling shows that Sanders and Biden are tied for the narrowest Trump victory, with each trailing Trump by seven points.   If the Democrats are going to have a fighting chance, Bernie is their guy.

>>> And that polling shows that Sanders and Biden are tied for the narrowest Trump victory, with each trailing Trump by seven points.   If the Democrats are going to have a fighting chance, Bernie is their guy.

They also polled PA:

PENNSYLVANIA

Sanders has 48 percent and Trump gets 44 percent;

Biden is ahead of Trump 50 - 42 percent;

Again, none of this matters. Trump will get Wisconsin and Florida and the shit will really hit the fan when the Supreme Court steps in to stop the vote counting in Arizona when/if it begins to look like the urban centers (always the last votes tabulated) may tip the state to the Democratic nominee.

A decidedly less conservative Court did pretty much this exact thing in 2000 in Florida you may recall.

And buddy, back in 2000 they didn't have 35-40% of the population ready to jump whenever Fox News says "vote fraud" either.

>create an electoral scenario in which a DEM wins the electoral college without AZ, Wisc, or FLA.<

Ah, yes.  Good old "swing state" North Carolina: voted Republican every single election since 1968 save for 2008 when Obama beat McCain by 14,000 votes.

Yes, I'm certain that a Democratic nominee can defeat a sitting Republican President in North Carolina.

Absolutely certain in fact.

Hey friend, do you have any beachside real estate in Kansas available?

^I know, Terry, I think Pa goes Republican too, just providing the requested scenario. The Democrats could lose NC, sweep Maine and grab one delegate from Ne...270 to 268

ff7.jpg

I'm actually pretty certain that PA will go blue this time around.

That said, the 2nd congressional district in Maine is rural, white, not overrun with college degrees, and Trump carried it handily in 2016.

You also have the wrong congressional district marked in Nebraska and gave the blue team an extra vote.

The district that Obama won in 2008 is the 2nd district (Omaha and suburbs) which is worth 1 electoral vote.

Trump has been pretty unpopular in suburbs, so we'll give that one EV to the Democratic nominee (even though it only went Dem once in 2008).

So if the Dem nominee carries the Omaha suburbs and Trump carries the 2nd district in Maine - that makes the total 269-269

an electoral college tie, which as explained up thread - Donald Trump wins in the House of Representatives.

^you believe that the house flips?

I said it was explained up thread:

How about the Senate? Thoughts on the Democrats flipping the Senate?

Democrats look like if they won all three with Bernie they would vote like Republicans during his term.

>>>> How about the Senate? Thoughts on the Democrats flipping the Senate?

Longest of longshots, I'd think:  https://www.270towin.com/2020-senate-election/consensus-2020-senate-fore...

That'd be something though:  DJT loses by 7 million votes, manages 269-269 tie, awarded another term by the House of Representatives

only to be impeached and removed by the Democratic Senate?  YOWZA.  Buy popcorn futures.

Longest of longshots though.  USA is Trumptown now.

^ Yeah, trump is more popular now then in 2016, get the fuck outta here.

Your math is bullshit because you tried to use some kind of logic...

trump is gonna cheat his fat ass off, now enlighten how he's gonna do it.

Because it's the only way republicans can win.

Can we gerrymander tod?

^ Yeah, trump is more popular now then in 2016, get the fuck outta here.

He's much less popular in lots of places, but still popular enough in the right states to where he can pull off another EC victory while losing by even more in the popular vote. He'll get the electoral votes for Texas and Georgia - but those margins will be smaller, contributing to the expanding popular vote lead for the Dem. candidate. He'll lose New York by 3 million, California by 4.5 or 5 million at least.

^^ trump is gonna cheat his fat ass off, now enlighten how he's gonna do it.

Trump's fat ass is too stupid to comprehend any of this, but - Republicans are removing over 209,000 registered voters from the rolls in Wisconsin alone (DJT carried Wisconsin by less than 23,000) , right wing Judicial Watch is also likely suing California, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Colorado and Virginia to remove "inactive" or "ineligible" voters in much the same manner.

This will be the second nationwide election without the Voting Rights Act so look for truly wild and unleashed vote suppression activities (moved polling stations, police intimidation, et. al) in urban and Democratic leaning areas.

And the level of absolute disinformation that will be waged on the airwaves, facebook, and radio will be like nothing the world has ever seen. With plenty of help from overseas regimes who are only too happy to help Trump continue to reduce USA's role in the world.

Trump has every advantage of incumbancy that any politician has ever enjoyed (barring an economic collapse) PLUS all the bullshit "cheat" codes listed above that are part and parcel of the Republican playbook and will be fully unleashed because...who, exactly, will stop them? (no one.)

19 million watched the debate last night, most watched of all so far.

>>>>>19 million watched the debate last night, most watched of all so far

Good,   More people got to see what an arrogant, out of touch prick Bloomberg really is.

^ yep

Warren has raised over 5 million since walking off the debate stage last night.

18.5 million laughed their asses off at that shitshow.

Results are coming in.   Sanders in the lead.

Called that one.

Bernie crushing Nevada and establishment democrats are losing their shit.

xnmypmgze4h41.jpg

Better call Stevie Nicks because a landslide is coming down.

that picture was drawn in response to the idea floating around various msm sources that bernie or bernie/warren is still losing to the collective centrist/moderate vote, incorrectly implying that supporters of one moderate would all just magically flow to the next most electable moderate like some sort of retard osmosis.

well, looks like bernie, on his own without adding the support warren received, actually has beaten the "centrist blob"...and liz warren. over 50% its looking like.

The dick sucking for 2nd 3rd and 4th is Trump logic.

Sanders ON Fire !!

wow. bernie melting faces coast to coast.

the establishment is shook.

bernie will be the nominee.

fall in line, centrists.

and lol at warren. she's gotta call it a day and fall in line.

bernie!!!!

3 for 3, guys.

can't stop the only 100% grassroots funded political movement.

hi thod.

fuck the establishment!!! hahahahaha yes yes yes!

if bernie wins SC it's over -- the dnc won't even be able to cheat him out of the nomination on the 2nd ballot.

so......are people still undecided? people still gonna vote for warren? thod? ned?

hahaha yes!

wow.
