NFL 2026

Forums:

With the draft in the rear-view mirror and the 2026 schedule announced, we have until 9/9 before it gets real (barring preseason injuries, God forbid). The waiting is the hardest part, as Tom Petty aptly put it. The cards were shuffled a bit. With retirement, trades, and new coaches, things have changed as they always do. Recovery from injuries will likely be a significant factor for some teams.

I'm curious who is fired up about their team at this point?

As Hawks fans, we can't go higher than winning the SB. But, we all know how hard it is to repeat. Letting SB MVP K9 walk at first glance seems crazy. But John Schneider, by all accounts, knows what he's doing. I'm left indifferent, as K9 had a great end to the season but has an injury history, while Schneider has a penchant for finding diamonds in the rough. Barring significant injuries and against long odds, I'm optimistically rubbing my rabbit's foot.

I have to imagine Alan embraces his new coach. Something needed to change, maybe it's the difference maker?

Meanwhile, Lance is wondering if the injury curse has run its course while he scours the depth charts.

Many question if NE was that good, including me.

The schedule is out, same as it ever was. Some have it easier than others. We had plenty of great games in 25, and I'm sure 26 will be just as good.

Feel free to project, brag, curse, cuss, or diss as suits you.

I like how the Browns are building but we still have a logjam of shitty QBs. I am hoping the 6'6" QB who runs a 4.3 from Arkansas gives us some excitement. Gets kinda tiring watch us waste some very good defenses year after year. Maybe Watson can massage some wins out of the schedule if he plays again.

New coach, new staff, and a decent draft after we lost some key players to free agency. Anyone got a Center?

Will a fresh start will revitalize the Ravens? Everyone is hopeful.

The 2025 veteran cheerleaders compete amongst the hopefuls for the 2026 season team during day two of tryouts.

Favorable stats anyway. Torturous situation there.

I think being a cheerleader scout might be the best job a guy could have? They should form a union and go for better wages and bennies!

I work with a former 49ers cheerleader and yeah no money at all as a cheerleader she was trying to be a pro dancer and did it for the contacts. I also had a friend who was close friends with the personal assistant for Al Davis. He used to occasionally get to watch games from the Raiders owners box. The thing is he didn't know a thing about football and had no interest in any of it. When I asked him how it was watching the game he told me that he had figured out the signal the cheerleaders used when they needed a bathroom break so an understudy could come in and take their place for a while. That was his entire takeaway on the game.

As a NE fan wondering the same, and wondering how much the TMZ - Vrabel thing will impact the season. Flying under the radar last year was so much fun then that bizarre playoff run. Schedule isn't as bad as the 49ers but we do have a Germany game, followed by a bye followed by a west coast game then back to NE. That travel schedule would kick my ass even if I was just going to watch, but everyone wants that sweet international money so we will only see more of this, and yeah the 49ers got the most screwed on that this year.

Different strokes, that's funny!

For the first time in a long time there's hope for Big Blue

new coach(reminds me of when they hired Caughlin)

ample defense and possibly a top 10 QB with weapons

Go Gmen!

There's hope for the Jets too but I'm sure they'll find a way to screw things up.

go Taylor's man's team !!!

and i wonder what the cheerleading wages/benefits are like
