"The Night of 100 Stars"

Forums:

Here's a cool flashback for some of ya zoners out there, CBS's 50th anniversary special from 1978,

"CBS On The Air; The Night of 100 Stars"

How many do you recognize?  How many can you name?  What kind of memories do they stir?

First row: Lassie, Edith Bunker, Walter Cronkite, Alfred Hitchcock, Mary Tyler Moore, Grandma Walton, Gene Rayburn

Yep- all those peep's are right in my wheelhouse of old-school TV watching. Recognize most, can name a good chunk of 'em.  'Twas a different world.

I see my boy Capt. Kangaroo in there-  c'mon, man!

Another great shot, Noodler. Spaz here is too lazy to learn how to post pic's.

Rayburn and Stapleton- outside of the line!

Should've had Lassie right in front. I wonder how many there are still alive?

Everyone in the front row is dead.

It looks like there's 10 black people included. John Amos, Ed Bradley, Demond Wilson, Sherman Hemsley, Isabel Sanford, Esther Rolle, and Cicely Tyson.

I'm counting 39 females (not including Lassie, who was always played by a male dog).

And a whole bunch of white guys.

Row 6  .... l to r

Dennis Weaver,  My Favorite Martian - Mr. Hand, Sally Struthers, Andy Williams,  Brenda Vaccaro

Weezy and George. laugh   One of my favorite shows back then.

Jack Lord! Loved Hawaii Five-O

Lot's of Walton's showed up.

I Saw That Pic the other day - It Is Fantastic.

Archie Bunker, George Burns, Maude, and Telly Savalas.

Real question is how many of these peeps made a special guest appearance on the "Love Boat."
