Samba In The Rain>France>Easy To Love You

Victim or the Crime > Childhood's End > Keep Your Day Job

Seattle Center, Seattle, WA (Thursday 5/25/95)

2nd set opens with:

Foolish Heart >

Victim or the Crime >

Samba in the Rain

any 3 cowboy songs?

Gyuto Monk chant>Easy Answers

Corrina > Don't need love > Samba in the rain

Damn, i like victim, easy to love you, day job and the cowboy tunes.

Built to last>walkin blues>mighty quinn

John Kadlecik > John Mayer

Nightmares are dark. Nothing better than a good dark Victim. The Victim > Dark Star from 12-31-89 is some of the darkest/best Brent I've ever been privileged to hear. Superb Dead.

Anything with Vince singing is pretty frightful. I was in Chicago once when they opened set 2 with Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds > Samba, , that gave me nightmares for weeks.

Drums>Space has scared the shit out of me on more than one occasion.  As it should!

yea there were times at Winterland , during drums/space I thought the building would collapse

California Earthquake> Bombs Away>Morning Dew

Bird Song > Brown Eyed Women

with phil lesh on vocals

Who wouldn't take any of these so-called "nightmares" in a heartbeat if it were somehow magically possible?

Victim was underrated.  It was one of the more powerful exploratory songs in the later years.   I wasn't a fan for years but I have come around.   I actually like it coupled with Scarlet Fire in a variety of orders.

Foolish likewise had a good jam sequence but prefer it in the first set.

Shoe fits > Queen Jane> Shoe fits > Samba > France > Don't ease

Victim sucked- they never played France so why worry.  Me & My Uncle was a crowd favorite (until 1973) .

Big Iron was hot-(but that was Kingfish).

wave to the wind.

Samba>Wave to the Wind>Walkin' Blues  E: IFTL

I always thought Victim>Foolish was a good combo.  Darkness into Light.

2nd set opener:

Day Job>Desolation Row>Far From Me

^I'd be stoked

^There is always one

^My traveling buddies would also have been stoked.

Unbroken Chain>Weir keels over>Phil turns his back and keeps on playing

oh wait, that wasn't just a bad dream

Brent -> Vince

one of my favorite shows had a Picasso Moon 2nd set opener with Wave to the Wind two songs later.
