How long would you go to work without receiving a paycheck before you called in sick??

I figured 2 checks before I told them to get bent.

Editorial in USA today a few weeks ago were pointing a finger at the workers for not having 9 months of pay saved.

I'd rather work for "delayed pay" than be furloughed.

 

We experienced unpaid leave when CA didn't pass spending bill several years ago.  Big hassle to apply for unemployment (then try to get the money, report to IRS, etc...).

 

Pretty much sucks all around.

 

(((not having 9 months of pay saved)))  Sure, no problemo.  sad
