He is the founder of Oracle which is used by any company with more than 25 employees. At CBS they have made Kenneth Weinstein the Ombudsman to oversee "impartiality" of the news. He has no experience overseeing news coverage and his only qualification is that he was Trumps ambassador to Japan in his first term. CBS news home of 60 Minutes will be transformed into Fox News II
And they aren't done. They are in talks to buy Warner Brothers which is CNN and they are the leading company to take over TicTok.

They're pawning this off as a private company making the decision, not the government,so it's not a 1st amendment issue. The truth is that Trump threatened Kimmel, and his cronies at the FCC wouldn't greenlight the merger unless Kimmel was gone. Complete bullshit.
Even more bullshit is it what people are getting fired for saying. Kimmel didn't say anything false. He was right on with his factual statement that Trump is politicizing it, and it's coming from their camp. Trump is blatantly lying when he blames it on the left. The anchor at MSNBC got axed for directly quoting Kirk.
Money talks. The way this ends is when all the actors on all the show on those networks go on strike and the companies lose billions causing mergers to fail.

This is a good read.
Since the election I have canceled the following. Target, Amazon Prime and stopped watching Amazon Prime. Paramount +, Disney and Hulu. I have also stopped using Google Chrome and switched to Duck Duck Go as my search engine. We are at war with the billionaires.
You can't do everything, as someone who spent many years in corporate sales you don't have to cut things by a 100% to win. Everything in corporate America is driven by growth. Every bonus depends on growth. A 10% decline in revenue means first off no bonuses for anyone with a C or a VP in their title and if that goes on for two quarters heads at the top start to role. Just ask the newly retired CEO of Target.
Don't forget we are under minority rule in this country. The D Senators represent millions more Americans than the R Senators. Winning at politics is very difficult because of the Constitution. We 100% dominate in spending power in this country if we decide to use it, but that will mean inconvenience for people so might not happen.

Fascism is a word that gets thrown around a lot. Many people who use this word really don't have any idea what it is. They think it's a bullhorn, or a president dancing around in a military uniform; the ghosts of Europe's past. They don't know when it's staring them in the face because it's already been normalized for them. Fascism is a political operating system with five main pillars:
Authoritarian control
A cult of personality
Corporate collusion
Scapegoating of "others"
The promise of a mythic type of nationalism; achieved through violence and suppression
that's it. That's the entire recipe. Certainly you can decide for yourself how each of these five fascist benchmarks might apply directly to our current political and social atmospheres. There is pro and there is anti. There is no neutral. Everything else is really just details.
