Everyone needs to do themselves a favor and check out this band. Saw Daniel Donato's Cosmic country for the first time this past summer and was completely blown away. This kid is the real deal. After the show I looked at my friends who were all picking their jaws up off the ground, and said, now we have a band we can see for the rest of our lives!
Saw them again a couple weeks ago and a nice small venue for a full two set show in it was completely transformative. These guys are incredibly talented, eclectic and diverse. Oh, and blazing!
Deadicated to my dearest old friend who found out he has a brain tumor, but the docs think they can get it (took an hour to have a 10 minute conversation last night, MRI found it on Friday.). His prognosis is good!
Thanking you kindly, another life long friend from elementary school committed suicide last week, tore my heart out, then this (and there's more suffering, but those cases had happier endings). Been a tough week. But I kind of expected it, sadly... then this (and a few other uglies), but we will survive!
