The NYT finds a Russian controlled politician.....

Forums:

that it approves of.  Apparently creating the idea of collusion is easier than admitting the actual thing.

Unfortunately in their homage to Mr. Wallace (written by his son) they fail to mention that he was controlled by Russia for much of the 1940's and was taken off of the 1944 ticket because of this:

"So enamored of the Soviet Union was the vice president that in May 1944 he traveled to twenty-two cities in Soviet Siberia. There, the NKVD played Wallace for a fool. He described the slave labor colony of Magadan, which the Soviet secret police had transformed into a Potemkin village staffed by actors and NKVD personnel, as a “combination TVA and Hudson’s Bay Company.”

According to his own testimony, if he had become president, Wallace would have made Harry Dexter White his secretary of the Treasury and given a position in government to Laurence Duggan. Both men were Soviet agents. As a KGB cable found in the Venona archives shows, the Soviets hoped that Duggan would aid them “by using his friendship” with Wallace for “extracting ... interesting information.”

But hey, what's being controlled by a Communist government mean when you can use the man to take a shot at Trump?

what? (I don't get it)

Is this another one of those times when we blame everyone for the idiocy of one person?

You're not happy when your candidate wins. You're not happy when your candidate loses. Guess what that makes you?

So this all almost happened before? Is that what you are saying?

They aren't Commies anymore, so it's okay now.

Sorry as long as you support Trump you give up the right to complain about anything because you support the following

If you are the president, you may freely:

• attack private citizens on Twitter

• delegitimize federal judges who rule against you

• refuse to take responsibility for military actions gone awry

• fire the F.B.I. chief in the middle of his expanding investigation into your campaign and your associates

• accuse a former president, without evidence, of an impeachable offense

• employ top aides with financial and other connections to a hostile foreign power

• blame the judiciary, in advance, for any terror attacks

• call the media “the enemy of the American people”

• demand personal loyalty from the F.B.I. director

• threaten the former F.B.I. director

• accept foreign payments to your businesses, in possible violation of the Constitution

• occupy the White House with the help of a hostile foreign power

• intimidate congressional witnesses

• allow White House staff members to use their personal email for government business

• neglect to fill thousands of crucial federal government positions for months

• claim, without evidence, that millions of people voted illegally

• fail to fire high-ranking members of your national security team for weeks, even after knowing they lied to your vice president and exposed themselves to blackmail

... do go on.

There's a shit ton more!

Thom....do you approve of Mr. Trump's job performance to this point?

>>>• allow White House staff members to use their personal email for government business

WHAT WHAT WHAT????? Link please

This looks like an opinion piece to me, so I'm taking it for what it's worth.

Nice little read.

So what you are saying it that...

"History doesn't repeat itself, but it often rhymes"

This time we had a National Security Advisor who was Turkish agent, and possibly a Russian agent as well.

And he's got that Jared dude, who was poster-boy for Subway before getting arrested for unspeakable crimes. Is that the Turk ??

Krushner or something.  What's his job anyway?

Thom believes that the writer is using his grandfather (Vice President Henry A. Wallace) to bash Trump and that his opinion should be discredited because his grandfather had Russian ties.

Lame on many levels.

Typical 'Hit and run' Thom.

Typical 'SHit and run' Thom.

fixed that for ya
