10/16/89 - i only recently stumbled across this show, and ive gotta say, to me, the second set seems like some of the absolute best material played during the 1989-1990 period, which is already an overall peak of the bands career. im pretty surprised i dont hear this show talked about much as an all time great show. on top of being just a fantastic show, this is, imo, a show where the "x factor" really seems to have been captured exceptionally well. the sort of thing you might play for a big music listener who is skeptical of the dead.
