Check this out. Some dude saw just 86 shows in a year and gets himself into the Guinness Book of World Records. That is less than two shows a week. I know there are some Zoners who got this dude beat and should contact Guinness and take the crown.

I've seen way more than 86 gigs in a calendar year multiple times. What a silly article.

That's ridiculous. I've been to more than that in a year many times, and that's not counting the shows I worked.
Looking back at my show lists that I've kept for the last 15 years, there are six years I saw 86 or more. 2010 was my record year, at 118 (I guess the ten legendary Furthur rehearsal shows I saw the first week of January that year lit a fire in me) and I know quite a few people who regularly go to more than 86 a year.
I wonder how much that guy paid to get his name in that stupid book?
